Yea... king size. I thought inverter = Quiet... I'm moving into a condo, so sound is kinda important to me. Also why not Electrolux? Thanks for the info bro

Is the motor used, it won't be that quiet. 9KG seems to under load, as 10KG can wash the whole set(bedsheet, comforter in a goal) thumbup.gif

Electronlux if you get the inverter motor n vibration reduction would be much better than pana.

I only interested on TL models. FL models I won't really recommend you to use, price is 1 factor, reliability are another.
Some says TL won't wash clean but again if you don't know how to use FL, it won't clean your laundries also. Like FL's quick wash only can clean 10-20% from its rated load and not based on full load.

Thanks super sound. I actually owned 2 FL and 1 TL prior... the TL really gave me problem. Baju tangled even with low rpm + less spin time. the prior 2 FL was much better... both electrolux. but u know la.. electrolux memang mahal. pana is at least 700 bucks cheaper for same 10kgs. even if buy electrolux 9kg still more mahal than pana. thats y so dilemma!

In some sense, that's the setback of TL, but now the newer type should able to solve tangling issues.

Actually i already checked the flexible hose and plumbing and re applied new Teflon tape

The water came out from the nozzle..the thing that control water entering the tub

That thing is electrically controlled i think...should i check it?

Leaking on the joint. Worst case need to look for plumber if using teflon tape can't solve the problem.

On the contrary, looks like problem at the water solenoid. Easy thing to test.
I'm assuming this is an auto washing machine. If it's a manual then this is all moot.

Anyway, turn on the pipe. Meaning let water supply to the machine.
Turn off electrical supply to the machine.
There shouldn't be any water coming into the machine as the solenoid should be default off, cutting off any water supply without any electricity.

The end

You could be right. Not an easy problem to solve as there could be sediments there that's causing an obstruction not allowing the solenoid valve to close properly. One precaution could be to filter the sediment with a sediment filter. Those small 10" quarter turn type will do.

I'll skip the Panasonic and go for the Hitachi 8kg. I've been considering the Panasonic 10kg for the longest time to replace my 6kg. The Panasonic uses a passive load imbalance sensor and would stop if it detect one to avoid straying in a damaging spin situation. This means that under certain conditions, extra load would have to be removed. Read dayalan86's post.

The Hitachi Big Drum and certain Samsung models with Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT) or LG with TrueBalance utilizes active load balancing. If there's an imbalance somewhere, this is mitigated or negated by load balancing ball bearings (kimchi method) or built in liquid load balancer (sushi method). The spin remains at rated speed without error or reduction.

8kg is able to wash king size duvet or quilt cover. Just a method of folding as shown in their manual.

I use a 2.5m hose due to plumbing point reach. Got from hardware store. RM18-25 in KL. Teflon tape on both to secure against leaks.
