Again, this is something to do with people's mindset, like now people prefer to spend rm14 for a cup of coffee in Starbucks that using all sort of chemicals rather than a coffee shop that selling for rm2 which uses lesser chemicals.

  Then what the point they created Front Load ?    No advantages at all ?

Life span if comparing TL to FL, TL always last longer.

A panasonic 14KG non inverter only consuming 480W(simple desgin) while 17KG inverter consuming 560W. But price difference almost rm500.
Power consumption won't be that much and by using bigger capacity WM, you consume more water. 10-13KG are good enough already for day to day 5 family members and monthly bedsheet, comforter cleaning.

Daily wash. Weekly sure can't.

Just an update to my electrolux machine ...

It's confirmed that the main board is spoilt, and to replace one it will set me back by RM300. I bought the machine at RM1K 3.5 years ago. Only the motor is still in warranty now as the covering period is 5 years.

After much thoughts, going to take the pinch to buy a new one with better technology, longer warranty and hopefully better efficiency.

What i have in mind now is the Toshiba S-DD 12kg Washing Machine [AW-DC1300WM] with the direct drive technology. I'm not so concern about the power consumption as I don't think washing machine consume much power compare to ac, oven etc. Water efficiency is at top of my mind. What's your feedback on the water consumption for this toshiba series please? General comment on this Toshiba model is also appreciated! Thanks a lot!

its up to ppl ... FL is not cheap compare to TL.... im curious if u own any house , before u talk about FL TL mattress etc...

Econ bubble used less water and take more longer, cause 1 day wash a once, so even 2 to 3 hours from me is don't have any issue, once loading out has 80% dry.

Front loaders are normally slower in washing time compared to top loaders.....
Bosch is a good brand but their spare parts are really pricey.... Service charge is rm100 per trip

Quick wash with heavier load take longer time and not clean also.
