morning guys.. been having delima here, hope you guys can help

I got my wii last 3 weeks and been having lot of fun with it. I started with this stupid wario, and as stupid as it was, i am having lot of fun with it. Maybe i am a lot amuse with what the motion control can do in this game.

THen i started with NMH and it was super fun, i play straight to the 2nd boss, but the game start to become repetative with moderate storyline. So with couple of game in hand, i tot i kinda leave this first and continue tryin other games.

REUC is the next i pick up, had lot of fun with my friends, but seem a bit boring if play it alone. However, i leave it at the third act wth jill and chris, waiting for my fren to come over to continue playing with him.

THen i pick up RE4 which is fantastic, and been playing it since then till now, going through 3 round on the normal mode. Mind that i played the ps2 ver be4, so picking up again in wii still lead me to lot of replaying.

And now the problem start.

After finishing re4, i pick up Mario galaxy, but its didnt appeal to me. I am not sure why, but it seem kinda childish? I hope i am wrong about it, but i drop it down after the second planet (i believe).

THen i move to Mario paper, and the same feeling occur to me. I didnt even get to the dimension.

THen i try the zelda which most people say is one of the best RPG game in wii. I was reluctant to try it earlier because I do not want to get stuck with a long playing time RPG. But with no option, i tot i might just give it a try. Unfortunately, I dont seem to be excited with it, sure the starting of the game seem promising, but i just can keep comparing how uber the other RPG i had played be4 come pare to this one. I like FF series and i love chrono series. But this one is totally different, and seem not my cup of tea. I am sad, i give it more try everyday, but i hate to have this boring feeling in me when playing zelda. I am not a nintendo fans, so that might be the reason. But still...

THen i tot is time to try more mature game, maybe that's the reason. So i pick up Metroid prime. It was interesting at first, but i find the control to be hard to manipulate. It might just be me, getting so used to muse and keyboard when playing FPS games, but somehow, its really dizzy using the wiimote in this FPS game, not to mention i usually end up confusing my self where to go. I try give sometime to get use to it, but still... i end up with confusion on the control and some minor dizziness. Oh god... i tot this is going to be bad.

Most of the best rating games that i played didnt appeal to me now. I am frustrated. I know its just me, nothing to do with anyone, maybe i had different taste or something.

My question is, does wii still the console for me? I had not try other console yet, but having 2 console is quite pricy for me. I like RE4 in wii very much. I played mercenaries over and over again, the control and everything is perfect! But other just seem moderate. Is there more i can expect infuture? I was waiting for FF4, dangerous creature, conduit, madworld, fragile, ToS, etc, but i am not sure how long i need to wait. At this mean time, my wii might be eating dust? Or I will be drown into RE forever? Please help... thank you

If you are into a GTA type of game there is Scarface and Godfather.

wow! very long. I guess certain games are appealing to certain gamers. I guess ur still waiting Square to release (or make) Chrono Break, coz im waiting for that too.

Probably u can try getting old gamecube game like RE1, RE0, MGS:Twin Snakes, Rogue Squadron and many more before the new titles come in.

i know the solution, play original games, hahah! sorry but it's obvious to me that thanks to piracy, you are jumping from one game to another without actually "playing" any of them. it's really sad but hey, some want to get the most out of their console, some want to get the most out of their games, the choice is theirs.

but judging from ur taste, it's obvious that Wii is not the right console for you. i'm not saying u should get rid of it yet but since u are not open to the idea of owning more than one console, there is not much options left really.

If its possible, try looking out for gamecube games.

The titles that u mentioned actually doesn't really appeal too much on lots of players. For, as an 8 bit game lover, looking at how refreshing the Wii games were brought me back to nostalgic memories. I never cared if i had to save a princess 10 more times, it was already etched and fun for me.

Its a matter of perception for u. I can't say this console is not for u, because the thing is, the lifespan hasn't ended. At any time it could spring back bring a certain genre of games that people might like.

To me, playing ahem games provided no satisfaction or value.Playing Ori games (even though borrowed from Corez) makes me take my time to slowly dish out the game. Just o savor every bit of moment that i can get with it just to milk out its worth.

For u to wait for those games to come out, ur question won't be answered anytime soon. If u feel its not up to ur liking anymore, then its just like that.

Hahaha, reminds me of those binders full of "Games" during the PS and PS2 era. Play for 5 mins and then just chuck it out somewhere.

...Or u can sell ur wii in garage sales and use the money to buy either ps3 or 360 . I tot u should think what type of games really suits ur gaming appetite b4 purchasing a console. It is disturbing really to see that u're already tired of ur wii so early after purchase. IMHO ori or not is not ur case here...u just hv the wrong type of games that is not really suitable for u.

If u want to look for old gamecube games, i can give u my friend's contact via p.m and he is active in LYN too so he is easy to find.

As a third party gamer myself, the Wii definitely does not suffice. I owned the console for about 10 months now and have only played three games (RE:UC, NMH & Okami) and of course, some NGC games. Of course, seeing that i don't have the "means" of playing so many different games, i just take my time to finish each.

Oh and having other console helps of course...
