right now already selling at rm1500 for malaysia set

ha.ha..if i wait until today..i sholud have 2 console of ps3 now.Cause I buy my 60G Ps3 at Rm3000 in Jan 2007..poor me .

malaysia covers full warranty and non malaysia liek sg set no warranty ? e.g lens fail or wad? or depends on the shop?

well i guess PS3 price will eventually be 1000-1200 by next year (or not), but if the price is around that, when the console got problem after 1 year i think there is no need to repair it... just get a new one... i figure 1200 for a console = to 100 per month.. hows my math?? good

SG set got warranty by Sony SG...so incase anything just send it to SG..if its lens prob , then just repair it at any gameshop here in Malaysia itself..around rm250

i think its a bit cheaper to repair the lense at local gameshop

yea , must be reputable local gameshop to replace the lense , if not other spare parts also they will change...aiseh

once repair,it consider no more warranty even from sony sg

1.paying using credit card..so a shop WITHOUT the 2-3% extra charge would b good..

beside those two shop..i dont think their is other shop that no charge 2-3%..

just got mine 80GB MY set and a dvi hdmi cable from nelson.. so far the ps3 great.. played demos and DvD movies. RM1580+45. recommended to from him.

I'll start a new club here soon, getting my 2nd PS3 after my first one 80GB Singapore set got it lense killed and now having GPU problem, will get a new MY set end of this month, is the 160GB worth getting?

if u think getting 160 coz u wan the bigger hdd space and ur 80gb last time really not enough then dun get that 160gb. Since space is important to u, get a 80GB go pc shop or forum here buy a WD 2.5" sata hdd 500GB rm230 only. or maybe even cheaper now. justmy1cent
