that mean if anything happen to ur ps3 (chances to get are really low) u need to pay for the shipping money otherwise if local warranty simply just go to any nearest sony outlet for ur reparing

if u buy the malaysia edi , if anything just send it to sony service center here in malaysia , but if u buy singapore set , u must send it to sony singapore and of course at singapore itself..

but sending to singapore plus waiting for ur console to be repair , it takes long time...what most people do when their PS3 lens rosak , they just send it to reputable gameshop which provides replacing the lens & also repair..the best thing is , u will get ur console the same day...its cheaper too rather then send to SG.

Added on September 25, 2008, 8:21 amlets say if i dont have PS3 at this moment and plan to get one , i do still go for SG PS3 40GB cause the hardware same as PS3 Malaysia , the best thing bout SG unit cause they have wide variety of console color ( piano black , silver satin & ceramic white )...bout the warranty , i wont care..around KL have a lot of great console Technician can repair PS3..so no worries.

True true, I agree with you bro. For rm13xx can get the 40GB version, the money you save you could buy a 250gb hdd and replace the 40gb.

well for KL case maybe buying SG set is cheaper
but then for JB, since 'ori MY' set is 1399 only
the deal seems better as the sg set comes with sixaxis instead of DS3
but i am wondering, why is it so cheap. . . .lol

whats the difference between buying a malaysian ps3 set from a normal game shop compared to buying it from Sony? if theres any problem, will i be able to sent it to a malaysian sony service center if i bought it from a normal shoP??

it makes no difference as long as there's malaysian warranty sticker on the box and the serial numbers for the ps3 is legit when you register it in sony malaysia website.

Almost all shops in Sungai Wang selling for RM1500.. this was last weekend

That's a nice price, may I know where is the shop located as well its name? I went to Singapore not long ago and man the price is better there but for convenience and such I'll go with local.

The Singapore set doesn't have the DS3??
