Well for me to get it officially available locally is of utmost important in terms of local warranty. At least i can call sc everyday to follow up on my ps3 if i send it to sc for repair rite. Rather than playing a waiting game if you send in to singapore and wait between 3 to 6 months to get it repaired.

Well, based on the confirm source from one of the lyn members it is said to be on 18 sept o8.

it makes no difference as long as there's malaysian warranty sticker on the box and the serial numbers for the ps3 is legit when you register it in sony malaysia website.

Well, that is my brother's. Moving to my own house so have to buy my own ps3...the timing just nice coz at the time got official ps3 already.
