Summary of M'sian set PS3 console price without game,

I bought mine on 26/09/2008 ( Friday ) Malaysia PS3 80GB around RM1599 + x1 Free Game + SkinGuard ( Bought it at Play-On Enterprise of Sungei Wang Plaza , KL )

My previous PS3 Ceramic White 40GB (SG) already sold to one of the forummer at RM1200..Not bad rite , Just add RM399 to Upgrade to Malaysia PS3 80GB.

If i want to buy without the game and skin, how much would it be (just the console + DS3)?

for sure not Malaysia PS3 80GB , cause he bought from his boss son ( which is the boss son didnt play it till 6 month ) , Malaysia PS3 80GB launch last 20th September 2008..So totally not Malaysia PS3 80GB.

I thought your reason for selling the PS3 Ceramic is because you not into gaming anymore.....

but the truth is that you bought a new Malaysian PS3

yup not into gaming anymore ( within a hours time ) , then back to gaming.

Sometimes I find your statement a bit funny and I have seeing you posting all around from Xbox forum and now jump to PS forum. Great technician around KL who can fix PS3 no problem? How about firmware problem? You think they can fix it? Motherboard fried... can fix or not? Don't give useless comment when know nothing about hardware. Besides, the 40GB is the OLDER model and now 80GB all come in BLACK only at the moment (even in SG).

And you sold your SG PS3 and bought a local and yet saying you don't care about warranty.

No stock is not because of sell out. It's because of sony, never plan ahead.

But they are taking orders still.

hi guys, planning to move into my first house soon. one of the things i need confirmation is whether the PS3's backward compatility is as 'messy' as shown in youtube?

am first time wondering into the world of PS and not sure to go with either one of the combo below:

combo 1: dvd player and PS2
combo 2: PS3

advices appreciated

take both combo is the best choice..

if you have only lcd tv/plasma tv..forget about getting PS2...
you will get worst graphic ever...

It's bad preparation.

Even on launch date, they don't even have enough SC4 to go with the bundle.
