Incidentally, I have a flight to Paris on that period, so I cannot post here whether my request for Auckland came through or not. So please, calm down. But I'm not keeping any list at the moment, not even those who PM me, or post here, or call me, or text/SMs me will get any priorities, until my Tumpang thread is up. Then only whoever posted first in that thread requesting for purchase, will be tallied into the list, and I will have to limit down the purchase to a certain number. I cannot be carrying RM2800 x 20 people's worth of money in my wallet, that is too much money to trust to someone you dont even know or met. Hell, I'm not sure I trust myself with that much money!

I am also thinking of you providing me with actual NZD worth of the phone, (NZD979 for 8GB , NZD1129 for the 16GB) in actual New Zealand currency. Due to the fluctuating nature of the currency exchange, it would be better if you yourself find a good deal from your preferred currency exchanger, and pass that cash to me. I dont want later to be handling complaints from people saying that I shortchanged them because the NZD rate went up/down.

But that will come later, and only will come if I get Auckland next month. No point making a list if I'm stuck doing other flights. So please, let's all calmly wait till I get my roster, deal?

Keep your first gen. Once the stock totally dry out, (yesterday's checks around Bukit Bintang and LYP still say they can get stock from Singapore, US models iPhone EDGE) your first gen will in high demand, see how the 3G iPhone not being available AFFORDABLY here. Then you can demand high price for it when people ask.

There was a customer 2 days back visiting MacStudio looking for a case(most probably showing off) for his 3G iPhone, his iPhone was on O2 plan, totally cannot use Maxis sim.

Or keep until it is high demand and then sell. Selling it at cost price also I think people will buy.If no more stock, then the secondhand market will dictate the price.

Video clip of GPS while I was on the bus is being uploaded onto Youtube. I had to juggle between keeping focus on the iPhone with Xacti camcorder, all the while I was at the back of the bus, fearing with every bumps and corners of the bus, that my iPhone will come flying out of my lap.

So, in advance, please forgive the quality of the recording. I did it the best I can.

DAre not ask them, unless they are close friends. Some are not as "friendly" as I am.

It is starting to look like I'm spoonfeeding you information and you take it without attempts of finding out the answers yourself.

The Meizu, you give me I take, but if want me to buy? Thanks but no thanks. There's a saying "Imitation is the best form of flattery", and the Meizu is no exception. You can try and make yourself look like one, but you can never be the real one. Plus, if they got balls lah, try create your own look. Dont simply rely on an established brand and plagiarise. Plagiarise, that's the only thing these China-brand companies know what to do. Reverse engineering, zero effort and R&D. Even theme parks like Disneyland also kena copy bulat-bulat! Totally no shame!

Added on July 18, 2008, 3:52 pmIt does not feel like plastic at all. I dont really know what it is, but it is closer to the feel of a polymerized synthetic with a thin later of clear polycarbonate. The type you see on carbonized metal surface on watches, if you know what I mean. I have this cheap Tokyoflash watch that have the same feel, look and texture like it, and I've bumped and banged it around, zero scratches on that. Not that I want to try it on the iPhone , mind you.

The screen remains as its previous version, but I've applied a screen protector on it, so the smudges wipes easily. I also bought this Moshi pouch that has this Terahedron threadings inside the pouch, that supposedly cleans the iPhone as you slip it in and out of the pouch, we'll see how that works.

Fighteden, the buttons on the side(volume up/down as well as the silent) and the power button on top are all now made of metal. Same chromey-look like the chrome bezelling on the side.
