Hey guys. Just got my Recon C-6 yesterday. It's awesome! Haha. I already did the AR mod. Currently trying to find a way to change the stock barrels which a small in diameter PVC tubing. That was less air will escape from the sides of the darts. Wish me luck! Haha.,

clips has been floating around it most major stores. RM29.90 for 2 clips and 10 darts(damn hasbro, can't they just give us 12 darts?). i just got mine last Monday.

and yes, recon only comes with one clip. which is why i waited for the longshot. now i have 4 clips .

Is it any place provide nerf blaster war game like paintball game? i like to try it. looks like nice to play... or any1 can organise it? hehe

Clips can now be widely bought around town! 30 Pack Streamline darts are coming too.

I calculated, 30 dart packs costs RM29.90 (Round off to RM30.00)
4 packs costs RM120 = 120 darts.

The ammo box RM120 (RM119.90) and you get 100 darts + A box lol. Personally I think the box is better if I were to buy.

ckneow: Nerf's community is not really wide in Malaysia, the likeliness of any place renting Nerf's like paintball is really really low. I doubt anyone will let you try theirs also lol You can get a really good one at RM34.90, the Maverick.

To answer the post about the Redshift CS-12: I don't think there will be a NERF 'Sniper Rifle' soon, since darts can't really fly far unless it has some very powerful force or something (which will be expensive I guess?) and zoom scopes are pricey.

If you're interested though, the Raider CS-35/6 is coming soon and its from the game with some minor difference such as the front grip.

There's rumours about the Nerf Spartan CS-12 coming though... Not sure about that.

Oh yeah...the Raider CS-35/6 dayem cool wan... hope to grab one when release... guys, anyone know whether the transparent maverick arrived at KL ady...?

I have 11 streamline magazines in my stockpile now. 1 from my CS6 Recon, 2 from my Longshot and 8 from the magazine pack that came with 10 darts, plus the 30 streamline darts pack.

Added the Nite Finder spring to my Longshot this morning, AR removed, reinforced the plunger rubber washer. Awesome!
AR removed from my Recon too, increase in range but not as good as the Longshot.

Ok some test range done in my office. From where I stood to the end of the wall was approx. 16m (52.5 feet).

The Longshot: all the darts hit the wall and bounced back

The Recon with the front attachment: Average was 12m (39 feet)
The Recon without front attachment: Hit the wall but the bounce were not as hard as the Longshot, still..

what the.....? i just reinforce my longshot plunger last night!!!!

but i don't have an extra spring to add . but yeah, definitely has better range with extra o-ring. even with the front attachment my longshot has good range now. changed my maverick's o-ring too. although i have to find another way to reinforce the longshot's front unit since the o-ring set i bought didn't fit.

haven't tested the exact range yet though.

Went to some major stores in KLCC (TRUS, Isetan and Parkson). Most of guns have increased in price. Maverick is selling at RM44.90. The Recon is selling at 99.90 and the Nite Finder is selling at 34.90.

What the hell? This is bullshit man, they were just released! Damn you Hasbro! Argh, I wanted to buy extra Recon summore.... Damn Price hikes! So damn angry la! Nite-Finder RM34.90 haih....

If refills naik harga really can't accept..

Yeah at first I tot TRUS tagged the items wrongly. Then after hopping into Parkson and Isetan, I found the prices were consistent with TRUS

One thing though, if you don't cock the gun then it will be a bit noisy when the spring slide around the plunger since it's shorter than the LS spring. But I tell, the spring addition was worth it. The streamlines flew like crazy man
Wish I could do the same for the Recon but the inverted plunger had no room for an extra spring. What I did was to add 3 rubber o-rings to the plunger to compress the spring further. Does the job since I can fire an average of 12m with the front barrel attached

I got some news about the price hike, not sure its true or not, but its supposed to be that batch only for the price hike. So we'll have to wait it out I guess? Not confirmed la, more like a rumour.

Better be true... Collecting lots of toys isn't easy for the wallet (Transformers, Gundam and Nerf?!) Luckily I kinda dropped out on HotWheels and Star Wars....

Also wanna ask, what do you guys think of NERF? Do you guys think its more beneficial (in many ways such as health, money, etc. and whatnot) than other hobbies like collecting toys? I think its more beneficial as you actually run around lol.

Erm...me jz started collect gundam and some other toys last year ard nov wor...and now interested in nerf...well, i think slowly collect should be ok kua...but must be affordable lah...i mean dun go beyond ur limit (wallet cannot tahan)...

Just bought myself a Nerf Maverick! Looked at mods before and thought it could be fun to mod too. I did the full barrel rolllout mod and of course, AR mod. So it all begins..

New gun...


originally with only 2 foam dart at a time and it's really crucial during battle time!


so we must temper the gun, tearing it apart.. and revealed the guts..


and then the barrel have to take out for AR mod as well

5 darts can be loaded at each time!



i bought this gun in less than 5 hours and mod can be done. It's really easy and fun! i got mine for RM36 and not sure when price will raise. Buy before it raise! have fun!
