Lately my maverick and CS6 keeps on jamming- I cant see/feel anything mechanically wrong with it but a lot of my bullets are not in good shape (mainly due to getting stuck in the guns when they jam) and the streamlines are mostly squashed into oval shapes due to the spring pressure of the clip (never put more than 6 in them). On the CS6 most of the time when I push the loader forward I can feel the bullet getting squished and it will surely gets jammed when fired.
Anybody experienced the same thing? Could it be wear/tear (I've had them for quite a number of months) or are the bullets causing the jams? I use the same bullets in my Vulcan (micros, streamlines etc) without much problems. |

So what i did was i exchanged the body joining it with a streamline dart head~ and using hot glue or tape to patch it up. my darts are fine since then~~ =] hope it helps u~ Added on April 6, 2009, 6:47 pmFinally~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Done my AR mod hahaha... now the gun dam power thx to nerfhaven This post has been edited by nugget1123: Apr 6 2009, 06:48 PM |

Zainframe,
Are you using the Longshot or the Recon ? The CS-6 is not the model number for the gun but the CS represents Clip System/Shot which is what the blaster uses. The 6 means the number of darts per clip. I haven't had any problems with the Recon about the darts, but my Longshot keeps squashing the top of my streamline darts, I don't know why though, maybe the plastic tab that keeps the bullets down is too low? I can't say. About the clips, don't store your darts in the clip. When not in play store the darts in another place such as a simple plastic bag. The clips do squash the darts on the long run. |

wow, glad to see that many has ventured to modding their guns
the maverick is probably the easiest to mod, no cutting is actually needed. as i mentioned before, unless we can find a way to make the dart spin in flight, the pole inside the maverick acts like a stabilizer. i really think it helps the darts stays on course. so yeah, the maverick is probably the "less-tool-required" winner. i'm too lazy to start painting my guns, but i can't wait to see some creativity here. also, again as before, be reminded that the longshot is seriously underpowered out of the box, you need to remove the AR to see it's potential. happy darting. |

Hey buddies, where to find a decently-priced Maverick nowadays? Everywhere I go it's RM44.90... just as I'm deciding to venture into NERF

Get it from Robinson. They're still selling it at the old price. Get it fast as stocks are dwindling last I check.
