Oh and the streamline darts tend to swerve to the left or right when fired as they are very light. Don't expect accuracy from them.

Thanks for the reminder Ganaz. Yep, streamlines fly far but not accurate... But since we mostly play indoors no problem hehe...

Steamline for me, I think not so accurate, ( mostly I shot what dart also not accurate tongue.gif )
But I like steamline 1 thing is, steamline is the far dart that I shoot compare with other. ( not include modded dart, I never try before. )

Sgnerf - Thanks for the mod guide! Looking at the internals of the Longshot, it may be safe to say that a similar mod can be done to it? I love taggers, they fly a decent distance and are fairly accurate, but they get very icky after a while (dust). The new Sonics are almost as good, they don't blow up in my brother's gas home made like the old one. As fun as Streamlines are, you can't hit the blind side of a barn with it even with laser sights. tongue.gif

I think the case is closed:

"Baseless" testing involving half dozen Lowyat forumers, plus several NerfHaven/NerfHQ forumers and their observations (no doubt having fired hundreds if not thousands of rounds) have decided that Streamlines are bad in terms of accuracy.

One (also just as "baseless" considering it's basically what everyone else is doing) observation from a Lowyat forumer says Streamlines are as accurate as every other dart.

Considering it's basically one man's observation against the rest of the Nerf world's observations, I think I'm gonna have to side with the rest of the world here.

Summary:
Darts don't average out to have the same level of accuracy, Taggers and (Orange Foam, Black Tip, whatever) Sonics are the best general purpose darts (Taggers being noticably better until someone can confirm otherwise), Streamlines have the longest range but have bad accuracy. Micros are very average.

Stefans are in a different league entirely.

It can actually fit 300 without any magazines/belts. Despite what that hasbro chart says, nearly every micro dart gun fires streamlines with no problems.

Lixx - Because they fly like drunk missiles. Oh, and just pretend zero is right.

Finally got around to making a double chain.

user posted image

Vulcans with two or more chains would have to be an emplacement weapon imo, you can't exactly reliably lift the belt while running around with it (not enough power to pull the chain up).

Well I have two more chains, I may add more chains to this current one as well.

I don't mod (i dry fire a lot so don't want to AR mod), but i'm seriously considering the Recon Tagger mod, and I'm definitely interested in Painting.

Not sure what i'll be bringing from my Armory/Almari...

Maverick
Recon
Firefly
Longshot
Vulcan
Secret Strike

Iskandar is very pleased.

Fix pictures pl0x.

I modded the Recon to fire Taggers. It now jams about half the shots, but the shots that leave the barrel properly seem to hit watever I'm aiming at properly now.

Added on May 25, 2009, 4:47 pmAnyone have firing issues with AR Modded Mavericks? Some of my shots refuse to leave the barrel.

Recon Successfully AR and Tagger modded!

Now i just need to countdown until it self destructs itself.

EDIT: FIXED MAVERICK AR MOD!

I just realigned the barrels with the AR, and now all 6 barrels will cause Sonic Darts to actually WHISTLE.

EDIT2: For maximum reliability, only use 4 Taggers in a CS6 Clip.

EDIT3: Ugh, my room smells of burning plastic.

It depends on how you mod it. My AR mods are only partial removals, i basically just cut a hole through and leave it at that.

Having said that, I haven't done a proper range test with it. Let you know later when i go home or something.

Added on May 29, 2009, 11:17 pmHOW THE HELL LONG IS 35 FEET ANYWAY?

PLUS I DON'T THINK I HAVE THAT MUCH REAL ESTATE TO TEST!
