Went to TRU too and spotted Maverick at RM54.90.

Thats a hike of 20 bucks... holy mother of plastic pistols.

My friend just went to TRU at Jusco JB today and he saw Mavericks there at RM34.90 each, so i'm curious how the other TRUs price theirs so much higher at RM54.90? Thats very odd, i think its a mis-pricing by some of the TRU stores.

Btw, my friend also discovered that the Nerf Rapid Fire 20 is now avaliable at TRU selling at RM99.90 ! Although its an older design, its a 20 dart blaster which can fire in full auto mode, which makes it effectively a magstrike on steroids!

It happens.... I once saw the maverick at TRU MidValley(KL) for RM54.90 as well, while at the same time TRU BandarUtama(PJ) was selling at RM34.90.
Probably they don't have centralised pricing.

Anyhow am looking for Nerf Maverick around KL/PJ area. Makes for nice Christmas gift.

Nerf Vulcan owners unite!

Check out this amazing Nerf Vulcan mod by the guys at ManaPotions, they doubled the battery voltage from 9V to 18V (very simple to do with RC packs), added a LED ammo counter and battle paintwork... the result is a 500 rounds per minute Vulcan!

Just watch what happens when they add (2) RC battery packs to it:

Awesome there, but I rather not mod my toys. DAmn I want to get the Nerf Vulcan now! But its RM199.90 THe ones with the extra 25 ammo belt is not around as well

I've seen carrefour and subang parade toysrus selling a few Mavericks

Btw, just some nerf news from across the causeway, the Nerf Vulcan finally came on sale in SG yesterday at Takashimaya! When i was there in the afternoon, there were approx. 20+ Vulcan boxes on display.

The interesting part is.... next day, all sold out!

Luckly, more vulcan stock has officially arrived in sg, so all the stores have them now.

Thanks. I went those places on Jan 10 after reading your post. TRU no mavericks at all. Carrefour has 1 maverick 2 nitefinder but all microdarts removed. oh well.

Had been trying to get hold of the CS6 and the longshot CS6 during Christmas time.
Seek all places, couldn't get any; finally just bough a Maverick at SuriaKLCC TRU at RM34.90 and the refill darts at RM29.90.

I called up Hasbro Malaysia asking for CS6 and longshot CS6.
They mentioned they have recalled all the CS6 due to casuing injuries to children (the orange color barrel) and
they DID NOT import the longshot CS6 :-(

I was at Metrojaya- The Curve on Jan 24th 2009, and realized that they just opened the kid's department!
Which much excitement I found the NERF corner with the following products:
- Dart Tag
- Vulcan (2 units)
- Firefly (3 units)
- CS6 (3 units)
- CS6 with bonus SharpScope (3 units) RM89
- STREAMLINE DARTS (4 packs) RM12.90. They are hung at the side of the rack displaying Transformer (at the back of the NERF Rack).

So I bought the CS6 with bonus SharpScope and one pack of STREAMLINE DARTS.
I also get a friend to source for Longshot CS6 in Hong Kong TRU 2 weeks ago, they were out-of-stock :-(

Now, I owned the following NERF:
- Nerf Dart Tag Strikefire (2 players set: Nerf Strikefire x2, Protective Glasses x 2, Vest x 2, darts x 10)
- NERF N-STRIKE MAVERICK
- NERF N-STRIKE RECON CS-6 (just added )

Next NERF to acquire:
LONGSHOT CS6!!!

I guess you don't have to search so far, over at SG all the stores here now stock Longshots (S$79.90 each)... recently there have been 20% store discount promos on the weekends, so Longshots can be bought for around S$64 bucks.

I guess we'll be seeing Longshots soon.

If SG79.90 (MYR 192.00) then it is very expensive; considering MYR199.99 can get a Vulcan in M'sia.
Just found out a friend of mine visiting SG mid Feb; hope the sales is still on.... (most likely not )
Anyway, thanks for the head-start.
Will contact Hasbro M'sia to inquire again and hope it will be available in M'sia real soon.

By the way, have anyone come across places selling Nerf N-Strike for Wii and how much?
Might be getting a Wii soon :-)
