I have something along the region of 8 magazines and one drum, split among my Longstrike and Recon.

Experimental rules:
As this is our first full scale Nerf War, we may end up trying out several rule sets. For now I am thinking of various different rules for weapons. Please feel free to comment on the different rule sets, and if you don't like any or all of them, we may modify or scrap them. I understand these are not perfect at all. If you like them, we'll try them on that day. NOTE: Most of these rules will require the presence of a Referee and/or Honor system, since we can not be expected to use Tag Darts with most of the weapons. ============================ Iskandar's "Anything Goes" ruleset: - You are allowed anything you can carry. - You are responsible for all your own weapons and darts. - Weapons must pass inspection (we don't want anything that can injure other players). ============================ Iskandar's "Class-Based" ruleset: Each class is allowed one sidearm except Brawler, which can use two. Weapons must pass inspection (we don't want anything that can injure other players). You are responsible for finding a way to carry two weapons. Rifleman - Any long CS-6 magazine weapon. (Recon must have barrel) (Raider must use CS-6 magazine). - One sidearm with no more than 6 shot capacity. Support - Any long weapon with CS-35 drum, or Vulcan. - One sidearm with no more than 6 shot capacity. Brawler - Either two sidearm type weapons, or one sidearm and a foam (SOFT) melee weapon, like the Nerf Sword. - Brawlers are allowed one Semi/Automatic sidearm which may or may not hold more than 6 shots, the second must follow the rules below. - Dual Wielding not required, in fact Single Wield may improve your aim considerably. Sidearm rule: Anything that resembles a pistol and can be held easily with one hand is counted a sidearm. (Recon minus barrel counts as a sidearm). No more than 6 shots fully loaded. Must not be fully automatic. Melee rule: You are not allowed to bash other players repeatedly and/or harder than necessary. It's a game. Just prodding the other guy softly can count as a kill. Weapons MUST BE SOFT *and* MUST PASS INSPECTION. ============================ Iskandar's "Arena" rule. - One weapon, 12-20 darts. - Everyone must use this same weapon. - Weapons must not be modified. PS - for these reasons the Maverick REV-6 may be the best choice. ============================ That's it for now. Next I'll try to think of some gameplay rules. For more updates, please visit the Nerf Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=72271897320 PS - Buzzbees are allowed. Berserker and Tommy-20 (both Tommies) count as Support weapons, Rapid Fire counts as a Rifleman weapon, Double Shot = Sidearm. This post has been edited by Afoxisko: Mar 22 2010, 01:20 AM |

Doesn't matter, a plastic lightsaber will do.
EDIT: Announcement - to those of you attending the war this Sunday, please mark your own darts, ie. write names or draw logos or whatever on them. This post has been edited by Afoxisko: Mar 24 2010, 01:50 AM |

Firefly may as well be discontinued judging by how rare it is.

20+ lost here, no biggie. Got a few hundred more.
But speaking of which, We (I and one other organizer) are considering legalizing Stefan darts in future matches. We just need to know if anyone in Malaysia makes them, or knows where to get the "right" foam. |

QUOTE(burunghantu @ Apr 6 2010, 11:13 PM) any age limit to join? anybody age 35 and above in this forum? Are you kidding? If the Singaporeans can impose an age limit of 55, why can't we pull a "Malaysia Boleh" and do the same? You know what? f*** it, as organizer I say the age limit is 65*. * Must be able to actually run around and shoot. There's also Dartwars.Com rules that you can use.
Just posting to say that this week's MNC war is postponed to next Sunday, as we do not have a majority of our officers present. |

QUOTE(nerfbuzz @ Apr 23 2010, 10:10 PM) hey i was going to buy a real rifle scope but can you guys tell me are real gun scopes allow in malaysia?????im srace that the polis will take it away and im going to mount it on my homemade nerf gun.heres the link of the scope http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6280 . pls tell me the ans i really hope the polis will allow it!pls reply!!! ![]() Save yourself the trouble. The recon and longstrike come with one of these, and they're much better for sniping than scopes. Besides, there are some legendary snipers out there with high kill counts using hunting rifles and iron sights (three little iron bars on the rifle.)). |
