If you said so that there is no activation on credit card, why the letter stated that the card holder need to activate the card before it can be used?
cause my fren heard alot of ppl say's that RHB credit card is damn sux and alots of problem. So she was worried that she might be victimise like those other card holder but as what i knw that she just received the card last week.
So how? Any advice that you'll guys can share to her?
OK ... if your friend has really applied for the card and now changed her mind then by all means cancel the card. (Got a sample cancellation letter in the 1st post of this thread) You need to send in a letter for the purpose as if I'm not mistaken RHB won't accept verbal cancellation.
Can you be more specific about the rumours about the problem ? Actually no card product is free from problems. If you are asking me about my personal experience with RHB cards ... I find the CS to be slow and unfriendly. Not something that I want to worry about as I use my card while travelling - I had a bad experience while I was overseas (Not RHB) due to unresponsive CS.
Foreign banks ? I had a bad experience with Citibank b4 and local banks as well. My advise is that different people have different needs when it comes to cc products - don't always listen to what people says. Experience it yourself and find that cc product which suits you best. Nothing is for permanent as CS levels/bank service qualities will change from time to time.

As i cont my studies in the US, there are no1 in malaysia that are gonna pay for my outstanding payment.

Well I can help you to pay if you can trust me. At least I got chance to ask you to buy stuff for me in US.
