Wow i always wonder what to eat because i work at shah alam.

You guys should try the sup daging in sec 3. It is just behind the McD at the roundabout. The place is called Wisma MAIS. Forgot the name of the shop but it is beside a copy centre and when you walk past the shop, you will smell the nice aroma of the soup. Yum Yum!! But be prepared to go early as the tables are very few and lots of people. Friday afternoon is the best time to go.

Kedai Kopitiam beside the lake is also a nice place. But so far i only tried the beef koay teow and teh tarik before and both is nice. The best will be the nice environment.

For non halal food - i like the famous curry laksa in U1 but getting expensive. I also like the chicken rice at Restoran De something. It is a chinese coffee shop quite hidden in industrial shop lots opposite the Panasonic Compressor near the F & N Coca Cola.

for me best char kuey teow @ Shah Alam is @ Aimar Char Keow Teow at TTDI Jaya... near ESSO petrol pump.

Chinese/Nyonya I like to go to Orkid Thai Sek 9 or Restoran Gulai Penang @ Seksyen 7 (Jalan Keluli) (coordinate: 3.064943,101.473785) both served Halal food only.

You should try the japanese restaurant in Shah Alam Mall (Sek 9, next to concorde hotel).

The restaurant is located at the basement floor of the mall (forgot the restaurant name) but it's the only Jap restaurant there. The food is good (tempura, sashimi) and it's cheap.

I always order the tempura set (for lunch) and it's only RM25+. The Tempura Sashimi set is only RM28.50 or so (around there). The set comes with rice, miso soup, salad, green tea.

Very worth it.

The Japanese restaurant in Shah Alam Mall used to be quite good and cheap. Went there quite often last time for dinner. That was like 10 years ago. But nowadays I find it quite pricey to eat there.

Just started working here for around 2 weeks. Not familiar with Shah Alam area. But if I recall both place you mentioned is quite far isn't it? My company has this 1 hour lunch policy. sad.gif
