the latest garmin is innov8 friendly
so far i don't have any prob..just my battery won't last me for more than 1 day...but no big deal..can charge it at night

wut is the price right now for the 8GB set?
how useful is the optical mouse? i mean, do u guys rarely use it or not? and does it work only in the web browser? how bout the photo gallery?

I found the optical pad really helpful, i use it all the time instead pressing the d-pad it self.. it can be enabled for all navigation purposes ( main menu, photo gallery etc), not just the web browser, with limited function that is, where in web browser you can use it just like a touch pad while in the menu its a 4-directional touch pad.. hope this helps.. if u get what i mean laa..

How do i get Garmin? Is it free? Don't say you have to pay USD99 to get it.

I'm not sure whether its free or not but got 1 forumer selling this software, ORIGINAL at a very reasonable price plus recommended service.. check it HERE hope this helps

Anyway, tips for you guys if u wanna save battery juice :

1. turn off auto-pivot
2. turn off auto brightness
3. set the brightness to the lowest
4. turn off 3G
5. don't open many apps in background

hope this helps, at least this is what i did to save battery

Another tips if u guys are annoyed to set the auto-stabilizer, DWR etc for the camera every time u guys start the camera :

1. Open the camera mode
2. Set everything that u need from the image setting etc
3. Leave the camera application working in the background by pressing the menu button

Now u don't have to re-setting the image setup again.

Ow another tips if u guys wanna use the 3D dynamic and 3D surround for the loudspeaker

1. plug in your headphone
2. change the equalizer to either two
3. unplug the headphone

Walla.. now both equalizer settings which can only be use for headsets are now available for loudspeaker

thats all i can think for now.. wanna contribute a lot for this thread but it seems the thread is in coma most of the time

anybody gets a "Class Not Registered" error when using the Samsung Pc studio ?

I updated my firmware but still d same and how come i can't install apps that were designed for S60s ?

Mine installed but never face that problem, strange is it the latest version? anyway maybe u can try update to the latest firmware.. latest firmware is already available u know, might fix up some bugs but it seems i couldn't update

can u use the messaging option in the pc studio ? Yeap, i just updated half an hour ago hoping the problem would go away... its still the same though.

all the apps worked on the n96 but not the samsung

Waa u managed to update ow installer cannot be used.. what kind of apps u installed act? the only app that gave me that error is N-gage app for n96 to itchy trying in on i8510 for metal gear..

Do u remember whats ur previous fw?? can all the apps and games be installed before the update? thats strange, i've got a few app can' be installed due to certificate error but that only because of i8510 are not yet available for hacking.. still.. can u tell me whats ur setting for application manager??

is it because i'm using vista ultimate x64 ? the link you gave to the forum had people with the same problem also. cannot use all the features in pc studio ... and apps won't install

hope samsung comes out with a fix for this fast. if not can't bring the full potential out of this phone
