Thanks! Just checked it. How is this different than the paid version?

The paid will provide you a scoring and CCRIS table.

The free credit report does provide the scoring as well, and what seems to be a table. But maybe it differs to the CCRIS table.

On another note, what does this mean?

Are you sure there's scoring in the basic report?

Here's the difference by CTOS:

[attachmentid=8458870]

The CCRIS table that I was referring to the BNM table.

Yes, it seems. The free report does show the speedometer type, in which it shows the rating, a score and what the score means.Yellow is weak, green is good, red is poor.

Anyway, anyone knows what this means?

*
Did you just signed up recently?
If you're, then that is a free full report.
After that, only basic report is FOC and it doesn't have speedometer kind of diagram.

eCCRIS is available!

Tutorial available at: https://semakanonline.com/eccris/

First time login needs to get PIN from kiosk at BNM.

Ya quite troublesome to purposely get the Pin first time in BNM
*
Yes it is indeed.
If similar kiosk is available at AKPK, that will be better.

post to ask just hopefully there exists any new/missing branches in klang valley which is/are not listed in their websites that someone else knew about it.... devil.gif

I doubt that due to security concern.
The first time login is exactly similar SOP as per EPF i-Akaun.

CTOS can get free reports twice a year, IIRC. but which months exactly?

I just checked mine, score is 614! but this record is at end of 2016, and new 'score' are not shown.
*
The free version for twice a year is a Basic Report.
You won't get your CTOS score with that Basic Report.

No wonder! But so we are clear, when FI requests for records, CTOS would give out the comprehensive reports to the FI, yes?
*
FI can access CCRIS database without the need from CTOS.
CCRIS database is maintained by BNM and all FI needs to update the database in monthly basis.

CTOS can provide other info that is not available in CCRIS to FI if requested.

Is CTOS paid report worth it? Does it really help in loan application?
*
They simply simplify everything by providing you a score.
Nothing fancy.
Help or not help, ultimately it goes down your score.

You can get the CCRIS section from BNM/AKPK for FOC.

Dear all FI experts,

I've applied for credit card from 2 banks but all got rejected, am suspecting it was due to my PTPTN loan repayments (frank to be told, i stopped payment for 9 months due to sudden strike of family financial condition).

However, now that I've fully settled all my late arrears since Mar 2018 and churn in additional repayment amount, by any chance will my credit card application be approved? or shall i wait for at least 6 months of good payment records to be reflected in my CCRIS before i starts to apply again?

Many thanks!

Note: i'm rather curious.. as the new education minister has removed blacklist of PTPTN defaulters, will the Banks still reject your application?
*
CCRIS tracks past 12 months of repayment behaviour; meaning from May 2017 to May 2018.
With my personal experience, bank does look CCRIS but some bank may inquire for more supporting documents.
For my case, it's PBB and they accept online PTPTN statement to prove that I do make prompt repayment and there's no overdue outstanding incurred.

Thanks for reply David!
I've tried pledging my FD to PBB for exceptional approval but the officer in charge insisted that they shall only follow standard of procedures in processing my application..

Guess the most secured way is to wait until Mar 2019 for re- application then :/
*
Pledging FD should be easier to secure the CC.
Whatever amount being pledged would be your CL.

Hi guys just a question about my CCRIS report. I have a MBB joint loan account with my parents for my property purchase. It is fully released, and I have already been paying the instalments for months now, however it does not still appear in my CCRIS report even in the latest ones. Is this because of joint account with someone else, it doesn't show up?
*
It should show up.

Bank will update every month to ccris on which date?
*
Your CCRIS information is updated on the 15th of every month e.g. information for Jan 2013 will only be updated on 15 Feb 2013. So if you have paid down your credit lines anytime from 1-31 Jan, time your loan application submissions on the 16th of Feb
