Just bought a CTOS Score Report for RM 12.72.
CCRIS report is instantly available. At last, my score is above 744. PTPTN shows all zeroes. |

Just found out that adding additional CC from the same financial entity will be treated as a NEW application:
Credit Application 1 28-03-2018 A Own Public Bank XX,000.00 2 23-04-2018 A Own Public Bank XX,000.00 In the end, it's just a shared CL from the first card. |

QUOTE(Nymphetamine666 @ Dec 27 2018, 02:08 PM) Hi, newbie in this thread. Is there a way to get both CCRIS and CTOS statement online? I preferably via email. Yes. Registered an online account with CTOS.Teach me please. Thanks. Pay RM 25 for CTOS Score report. It'll have CTOS + CCRIS with score generated for you. QUOTE(labtec @ Jan 7 2019, 11:15 AM) Exactly the same cannot.I would use the word "comparable":. [attachmentid=10154093][attachmentid=10154094] Becuase the weightage that CTOS used to generate the score is different from iMoney: [attachmentid=10154100][attachmentid=10154102] Do all banks use the same score? It is important to remember that the CreditScore is only an indication of your credit health. Every bank interprets the CreditScore slightly differently with some being more lenient while others more strict. QUOTE(chesterst @ Jan 18 2019, 12:37 PM) I am curious as to how Charge Card expenditure is reflected on CCRIS? It could be not appearing in the CCRIS like debit card.Charge card doesn’t have a preset spending limit so how do they determine the figure to put as financing limit on CCRIS report as there is no such thing as a clean cut credit limit? |

QUOTE(andrewmky @ Jan 23 2019, 11:28 AM) Hi guys, I've a few questions. 1. If it's a loan facility works as an installment plan, it'll appear in CCRIS. 1. According to the website of DirectD (http://www.directd.com.my/123), installment plans are available even without credit card usage. Will this in any way affect my CTOS/CCRIS credit score? 2. If I had a credit card and used the installment plan offered by a credit card, I'm always advised to pay the full amount of the installment plan before the next statement charge. Is it bad for my credit score if I pay above the minimum amount required by bank monthly, but still take a few months to pay? Eg: Installment plan of 12 months for RM1200, repay RM500 per month for 3 months (with interest rate). Will it affect my credit score? |

QUOTE(geekofIT @ Jan 30 2019, 10:47 AM) wah geng I don't know.can u share on how u achieve such high score? How long was the period being tracked by CTOS to obtain that score? I just make sure that all my outstanding are cleared on time. I think the score is only valid during the time it is generated based on the most updated CCRIS. The following month if you generate the score again it may differ. The score could drop significantly if you have high utilization on your credit cards. |

QUOTE(geekofIT @ Jan 30 2019, 11:25 AM) "The score could drop significantly if you have high utilization on your credit cards." It depends when the info is being keyed in by the bank. Let's say if i have higher than normal utilization on my credit cards, but i still pay all the balance by the end of the month, my credit score will still drop? Most banks need to update by 15th on the month. Also do remember that CCRIS data is 1 month back-dated. The best is to clear everything by payment due date.
