Hi all, I have a outstanding balance which rm80+ on celcom bill , and this bill i suspect they extra charge another one month bill which I remember I have clear it off, tats why I have on hold repayment first.
Now the banker collector(i guess is collect debts from celcom) keep forcing me to pay for it, otherwise sound like threaten blacklist me in CTOS.
So back to the question are they able to blacklist me into CTOS? will and any consequence happen?
*
Yes they can put you in the CTOS even though amount owed is petty
Consequence is only affecting when you want to apply for credit facility.

Hi,

If we take cash advance, will it affect our credit score?

Thank you.
*
Yes, it'll translate to credit limit utilization.

Oh, so the score is affected due to high credit limit utilisation (But if the cash advance amount is low, the score wont be affected right)?

Thank you.

Yes.

My credit score is different between CREDIT BUREAU MALAYSIA and RAM CREDIT INFORMATION. Which one is more credible to follow?  rclxub.gif

Just read the cautionary notes if there's any.
Otherwise, if nothing to be taken care off, you should be peace of mind.

Credit score is just a guidance; not a passport for credit facility approval.

When Financial Institution does a hard pull on CTOS record, do they get the latest report and scoring?

Coz in 2016, i purchase CTOS report, and in there got score (poor rating) and special attention.

But special attention sudah clear, and score should go better. But i havent purchase the latest report.

My scared is that FI is referring to the last score i got when  i purchade the report!
*
They will only pull your CCRIS record. Score is done by CTOS internally by CTOS using their own criteria.
Financial institution has its own credit health/rating evaluation themselves. They don't really rely on external score like CTOS Score.

Dats good to know. But if they were to obtain the CTOS record, they would be getting the latest report and score, right?
*
Latest CCRIS report for sure since it's centralized in BNM database.
That CCRIS report has no score as I had explained earlier.

But that's CCRIS, right? I meant to ask for CTOS.

Same as CCRIS.
CTOS score varIes in monthly bassis too as it depends on the CCRIS.

12 months.
If your have a bad record on July 2018, It'll clear out by June 2019 unless that record is being removed due to complete or full settlement.

Hi. I saw your explaination on this.

How about this?

Credit Card card cut off for statement is 20th monthly.

1. Total spending 2.5k
2. Statement out - captured 1k [payment due]
3. I paid the statement due 1k [clean].
4. The remaining balance of 1.5k is not due yet [next april 20th statement].

Will the bank capture the 1.5k and reflect into CCRIS or will it state total outstanding 1.5k in ccris?

Should I clear the 1.5k so when end month bank report to ccris will show 0.00 outstanding? or no need?

I planning to get a house loan soon. So want the very best to ensure the ccris is good even all the credit cards and car loan i paid on time with '0 every month.
*
I try to correlate the numbers in CCRIS with PBB statement. I couldn't find the exact number.
I believe it'll capture the latest unbilled outstanding as of last day of the month.
Which the number being punched to the CCRIS is the balance on the date itself or one or two days earlier, I'm not so sure.

Date Balance Updated may not be the latest outstanding as of the date.

HI Guy/ Gals,

I need some to help understanding those items shown in CCRIS under the title APPLICATION FOR CREDIT. Early this year I bought a new car and apply loan to 2 banks, Maybank and PBB. Both the car loan applications are approved and i choose PBB. Recently I check my CCRIS and noticed that the MAYBANK application is still appears under "APPROVED BY FI".

I wish to ask how long does this record under MAYBANK will be removed? Reason that I'm going to apply for a housing loan and worry that it might affect my housing loan application.

Thanks in advance.

I think 12 months later.

How long are the records kept?
CCRIS shows repayment records of the last 12 months only, after which the oldest data is expunged.
