I just saw an advertisement on Astro Supersport that they will be airing the Sony Ericsson open from 1st to 6th April.... lulz wut?
Didn't state the time though.... or maybe it did and I didn't catch it.
Check their stupid online guide and none of the channel 811 programmes are updated. Awesome huh?
*EDIT* Scratch that, its Live now.

QUOTE(Bepeon @ Apr 1 2009, 09:28 AM) Astro actually showing the Sony Ericsson Open? Thats shocking. Guessed they learnt their mistakes with the BNP Paribas Open. Theres actually quite a big demand for that open. Thats why thsi time they are going to air all of them live. QUOTE(hackcremo @ Apr 1 2009, 10:46 AM) yup..show live around 12pm to 3am.. It extends beyond that, was watching until Roddick's and Monfils match at around 4am. Went to sleep after that, and I know Federer and Nadal's match is going on in the next couple of moments as they are still airing it.

Most probably delayed telecast. Don't think they will open up new channels, unless its a grand slam.
I'm voting Roddick! He's coming back!

Wait the whole day hoping for a repeat.... but don't have. Instead they show useless programmes like omnisport...

Murray is totally different from last year man... Fed owned him in last year's US Open 2008 because he's still "fresh".
I don't think its that easy anymore. Fed needs to pull out his classical impossible shots like a few years ago where absolutely no one could stop him. It'll be hard for him to do that though, he has lost motivation. Isn't the great Federer anymore.

Maybe I interpret it wrong. Its more of like Federer doesn't seem to be himself as his was like say in 2007 and 2006. He is still an awesome player no doubt, but when I look back... he just isn't the same. Anyways, I checked Astro but no Live matches for Federer vs Djokovic. Supersport always love to change tv times last minute though.

Ohh... thats correct too. Others has gotten so much stronger, sorry kinda forgot about that.
Do you still see the fire in Federer's eyes that he had from 2005-2007? Those were the days, its not so often you see that in his match now I guess.
Speaking of which, Murray has gotten so much better since US Open 2008.

QUOTE(kaka91 @ Apr 3 2009, 10:19 PM) oh damn, those were the days.. when federer used to play and i was 100% sure he would win..not that now i have lost my faith in him, i have not!! a true fan never gives up, but times changing, he;s getting older. compared to ppl of his generation, he is still the best among them. Exactly! Remember all those impossible shots? They were nuts man. I still remember the insane kick serve he did on Pete Sampras in MSG. That was crazy. QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Apr 3 2009, 11:56 PM) No wonder Nadal lost...three(3) sets only. If five(5) sets sure he'll win Alot of "if"s, excuses. Nadal's fault on not seizing the oppurtinity.

Damn so thats what happened in the match? Jeez.... Breaking the racquet, I still consider okay. Understandable, Safin does that all the time anyways... But drinking and throwing the botle behind him and treating the ballboys like idiots?

Really? I still think highly of Roddick, Nalbandian and Safin(I know...). Even Lyeton Hewitt is still one to watch for me.
So it isn't really... all about just 2 people.

The only tactic McEnroe has is shouting, flaming, and swearing the hell out at the ballboys, onlookers and umpire when he loses a point. Hell of a tactic, works in the 80's unbelieveably well.
Heck he's still doing it now.

Yea.... seems to me the entire ATP will be overun by Nadal and Murray only. But I won't count out the other players too. But Nadal just lost to Del Potro, so I'd say anything can still happen. Federer would start to break even more racquets!
