QUOTE(diegoadriadona @ Jun 6 2009, 10:57 PM) Well predicted..Kuznetsova in straight sets 6-4 6-2 Safina couldn't resist her tears and broke her racket i think?? But kuznetsova deserves this title One more match left..Praying hard for history to be equalled/achieved Didn't watch the match. So Safina didn't really put up much of a fight then? Broke her racquet? Really?

I don't know which to watch. 9PM, F1 should still be on-going... unless some sort of crazy-ass 12 car crash and stop the race immediately. Will be switching channels back and forth....

Congratulations to Federer. Props to Soderling for not being a sore loser, but being very sportsmanlike. Even cracked a joke, he promised he won't be beaten 11 times in a row. First set was pretty much dominated by Fed. No answer from Soderling. Second set was pretty close until the tiebreaker comes around. Third set... there were times Soderling could have took the advantage and score some breaks, but didn't. Especially in the 8th game. But of course, handed the point with the superb serve from Fed. So nice to see Agassi presenting the trophy! Lets see if Fed can be the only man to win 15 slams in Wimbledon, which starts in 2 weeks! Tennis craze all over again.

QUOTE(Bepeon @ Jun 8 2009, 12:51 PM) Lol guys, look at this. Super funny commercial! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQbyDGHlTd4Anyway, the crazy fellow wore swiss socks but was holding a Barcelona flag. So is he a Swiss or Spainiard? Swiss in disguise... spaniard underneath. Lucky he didn't came out guns-blazing. Wimbledon is the big one. No doubt, I do think that the players are even going to be more competitive there. Can expect everyone else to be very fired up. French Open has been very unexpected. Except for Roger, none of the top 4 were in the semi-finals. Heck, in to the top 10 only Del Potro and Fed made it into semi-finals.

There are others to look out for. Gonzo for example, he came back strong out of no where in RG. Could be another strong showing for him again in 2 weeks time. Then theres Monfils as well, looks like he has looked past all his injuries, says "F.. it, I'm playing till I die", then played like the electrifying diver he has always been known for. Tsonga is also improving quite a bit. Still has an inmatured mindset though, always think that if he wins a match, he's the best.... Oh and I'd say also look out for Roddick. I saw a glimpse of the Roddick from 2003 in RG....

And this is what the great Pete Sampras has to say: QUOTE What he’s done over the past five years has never, ever been done—and probably will never, ever happen again, regardless if he won there or not, he goes down as the greatest ever. This just confirms it.”

QUOTE(Bepeon @ Jun 8 2009, 11:34 PM) HC, i read your post about Astro Supersport's coverage on French Open, don't be so happy yet, we would all back to normal when the Masters Series starts again.. all the frustration caused by the crappy TV Coverage (no semis + no final!), not to forget they didn't even show the Nadal vs Federer final in Madrid. But well, the coming Wimbledon will be covered by Starsports.. Then US Open will be covered by Supersport. Lets hope the momentum Federer is having now will bring him far into Wimbledon! Bepeon, they did. I was watching that match on Astro from the start till the finish. It's not live however, few hours delayed. QUOTE(Bepeon @ Jun 8 2009, 11:47 PM) And where is the HD technology? Free to air channels in other countries already have HD channels while M'sia is still light year behind. Getting rights for airing HD content will cost Astro a bomb.... and being the egoistic-selfish bastards they are, they won't take the loss.

QUOTE(Bepeon @ Jun 12 2009, 02:31 PM) Emm. In Kinokuniya. Remind that you that its quite expensive.. because it's imported from America. Lolz. Yesterday i watched the Roddick vs Hewitt. Quite fun of a match.. I think actually Hewitt played better but he lost in 2 tiebreaks. Very unlucky! Yea, strokes wise Hewitt was having the edge. But too bad he's facing Roddick, his blinding serves comes out of no where all the time. And there you, matchpoint. Btw, did you see Roddick's cap.... its entirely drenched in sweat!

QUOTE(Bepeon @ Jun 14 2009, 03:24 PM) Emm. I think Roddick said its not too serious.. So don't worry. Murray vs Blake.. I think Murray will win simply because his game is too complicated for Blake. Murray is one of the smartest players in the game.. He can really do alot of things.... that will surely mess up Blake's rhythm. Good if ain't too serious. Not going to be nice to crash out of Wimbie just because of a sprained ankle a week early. lol... you may never know, the return of Blake maybe? Those super hard strokes he's always known for. Added on June 15, 2009, 6:25 pmMurray has won. This post has been edited by SSJBen: Jun 15 2009, 06:25 PM

The irony. If Nadal wins his first match and Hewitt as well, they're going to be facing each othe again! That it makes it 3 official meetings in just a month. Added on June 19, 2009, 8:15 pmSoderling also at Fed's side btw. Wooo... I smell a rematch before even the final perhaps? This post has been edited by SSJBen: Jun 19 2009, 08:15 PM

Damn....
That takes out alot of fun from Wimbledon. This would also mean that everyone is going to be even more fired up now that the top seed is out before even Wimby started.
Sad, but... Thats how it goes in sports. Let's hope he can be in 100% to when US Open comes around.
