QUOTE(Bepeon @ Jul 24 2008, 09:04 PM) If things continue to turn back for Federer, i would rather him having a long break after this season.. then prepare for next season. Instead of all these meaningless exhibitions. =( i must agree with you. maybe its just a coincidence, but din federer's game start to go downhill after he came to malaysia? I have to say this even i'm a Federer fan. |

while rafa collecting a grand slam, federer is on the slump!
all of sudden, overtaking sampras' haul look hard for him. nadal seem to be in better position. if he keep on winning 2 or more slam a year, he'll be on top of slam's haul in 5 years lets just hope federer will bounce back. he is only going 27. the probem was nadal is 21 This post has been edited by yngwie: Jul 25 2008, 11:17 AM |

Nadal is 22. Djokovic is 21 if i'm not mistaken.
Well, one can't keep winning all the time right? Federer just needs a break. Lets see how he perform next week before making a conclusion. ![]() |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Jul 23 2008, 11:08 AM) the real question is since when Malaysia interested to invite tennis player, normally they always invite football team from Europe probably malaysia got so bored with nicole david world domination in squash...so they want 2 try and promote malaysia in the world of the real racquet game TENNIS |

Well, i don't think its a physical problem. Its more about confidence. Mental strength is so important in tennis.
See Nadal. He's so confident after French Open.. thats why he always plays well on grass after his win in French Open. And now he's even more confident after winning Wimbledon.. Looks like he will have a good hardcourt season. There are many talks about Federer losing his motivation.. He doesn't look like he wants to be a champion anymore. Lets hope its not true.. Hope Murray can beat Djokovic. =) I prefer Murray over Djokovic. Cilic from Croatia beat Roddick yesterday. Lolz. Today's Schedule QUOTE Centre Court - 11PM Enjoy!Gilles Simon vs Marin Cilic Nicolas Kiefer vs James Blake Not before 7AM Novak Djokovic vs Andy Murray Rafael Nadal vs Richard Gasquet This post has been edited by Bepeon: Jul 25 2008, 05:44 PM |

I seriously don't think its anything related to the physique yet.
Its more about the confidence, the fact he lost in Australian Open... then the mono virus thing.. And also now losing in Wimbledon. Thats harsh for any players. Nice match so far between Murray and Djokovic. Murray won the first set =) |
