QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 1 2009, 12:16 PM)

Another suprise by Kohlschreiber maybe? Heck I expect Tsonga to beat Del Potro too.
*
Actually Kohlschreiber beat Roddick before, in Australian Open 2008, in 5 sets... So i won't really find it a surprise if Rod gets beaten here in French Open, especially when clay isn't his best surface, but he has improved alot lately...

I think Federer's biggest opponent is still Murray, who seems to be getting better with each match.. and of course Murray has beaten Fed alot of times... except in last year US Open final!

Lolz, i still can't believe Nadal has lost.. Wow, thats incredible.

Deep down i think Federer knows how big is the chance he's given now... and given that he doesn't suddenly lose his form, he would be able to win it.. Given... but anything can happen, even Nadal can lose!

On the women's side, all the top seeds are really struggling except probably Safina, who has been thrashing all her opponents.

Ivanovic and Dementieva have already been kicked out! God! But players like Sharapova, who i don't really expect to perform well here after such a long injury, now is in the final?

Sighz. What a disappointment that Jankovic lost again.. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif She can be really awful isn't it? Because she doesn't have any big weapons, she struggles even against some lesser players. blink.gif blink.gif

Anyway, today all singles matches start at 8PM. Take note of that.
Will Murray continue his way to the final? smile.gif smile.gif

Lolz. Better don't curse Federer then.

Emm. Safina did struggled in the 1st set, but looks like she would win the 2nd set... Azarenka's scream is annoying!!! !!!!!

Sharapova getting thrashed... Already 2nd set still hasn't won a game yet.. Sad case.. Not sure whether she can come back this time... Emm.

Go Gonzalez!

PS: Yay, Gonzalez won the 1st set! Emm Sounds good.

Anyway, just watched highlights of Jankovic vs Cristea, which Jankovic lost 9-7 in the 3rd set.. I think she has a problem of finishing points, even when she was in a good position, she doesn't have the power to end the point.. which is really a sad case.. because she tried to add some muscles early this year, it totally messed up her game... and affected her movement.. and she tried to lose weights again.. and well, movement seems to be back but no power to finish point off... Sad case sad case..

Cristea is a new girl, i don't even know her.. but she seems cute.. smile.gif

God. Gonzalez is another player on fire in Roland Garros!

And even Murray was getting manhandled by Gonzalez.. totally. Gonzalez was toying Murray with his dropshots + lobs! So evil!! And it was fun to watch!

Really entertaining tennis!

Wah. My curse is so effective! Okay, Monfils is playing very well now, so gonna be dangerous for FedEx. tongue.gif tongue.gif

Today's Schedule - Start at 8PM Malaysian Time

Court Philippe Chatrier
Sorana Cirstea, Romania, vs. Samantha Stosur (30), Australia

Well, needless to say, today's highlight is Federer vs Monfils... The french crowd has been really supporting Federer alot this year.. but now he faces a frenchman, not sure who the crowd will support... Argh, Federer hasn't regained his best form yet... God bless him!

Why say so? I think Federer really deserves to win it if he really wins it.. because he has been 3 times runner-up. Its okay to say no one deserves this more than him.....

Lolz. Happy birthday to Nadal. He would be fine in coming tournaments anyway, no slight worries for him.

Anyway, really feeling nervous now for Federer.... i think the loss of Murray, Nadal and Djokovic would really give Federer more pressure in performing, and now he faces a french (Monfils) in French Open... who probably would have the whole stadium supporting him... and he's not playing his best tennis yet so far! God bless him!!! This maybe his greatest chance to win French Open for the 1st time in his life!

Great win by Federer.... Seems easy but i don't think he's playing his best tennis yet... but yet its enough to finish off this Monfils.. who looks like doesn't want to play after the first tight set.

Credits to Federer for hanging in there in the 1st set... If he can continue serving like that i think he can win the Roland Garros title.

And he seems happy to win after the match point. Nice emotions there!

Anyway, Serena is out! Got beaten by Kuznetsova... blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

Actually Federer was quite close to winning the Calender Slam for 3 years... He won Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open in 3 years but lost to Nadal in French Open.. Emm.. I think career slam is good enough, not like its any easier... Swt.

Emm. Soderling vs Gonzalez starts at 7PM, then followed by Federer vs Del Potro.

Agree that this will be a very tough match for Federer.... But i think Federer would get the advantage as this is the first itme Del Potro actually in a grand slam semifinal.. But not to say that Federer has no pressure as well because he's so close to making history!
