Lolz. After a quite quiet day, not with Serena Williams of course, we will Murray, Nadal, Sharapova and Ivanovic all playing.. I think Sharapova gonna be in deep trouble today... because Petrova is a very good clay court player, and Sharapova, she has just started her comeback.. and to face such good player on clay is really tough for her.

Nadal didn't play really well in his first match.. so its really interesting to see how he performs today...

o.O Serena Williams is always fat, but she has the strongest mind in the game... She may be unfit but i won't doubt her chance of winning this grand slam... but Safina does look like the biggest contender now.

Yeah, i agree that Acasuso played out of his mind in this match. It was a really good match afterall... I think Federer sort of lost concentration in the early part of the 3rd set.. but after that he started hitting all those crazy drop shots and forehand winners...

Haha, i like to see Federer adding that dropshot into his weapons..... Its really useful in clay court, especially against players like Nadal who stands like few metres behind the baseline and this shot will shock Nadal out of his life!

I think he played quite well, except for the few games in the 3rd set... But its good for Federer to experience these tough matches.. its not getting easier.

Yesterday we had a great day of tennis, watching Federer struggled abit but came out from the match playing some of his best tennis... Its impressive....

Looks like today will be good as well... The highlight of the day is definitely Nadal vs Hewitt... Seriously, i don't think Hewitt can really trouble Nadal... but he's Hewitt.. tongue.gif tongue.gif If he can play with his usual fire, all the "come on"s, and make things abit more exciting, then it would be great... If not Nadal would cruise through this match again...

And also Sharapova is playing as well... I think Murray vs Tipsarevic should be another great match. smile.gif

Anyway, go Hewitt!

I'm studying in Brisbane now perhaps i should support our local hero here! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif But i highly doubt that he has any real chance as you know its on clay and its the king of clay blink.gif blink.gif

I watched the match as well.. Nadal was really good in defence.... there were a few shots that Hewitt attacked and Nadal just flicked back those balls with his forehand. Its really frustrating because it was a good shot but with a flick and the ball was back to your side.. Its crazy! But yeah, Hewitt played quite well actually but well, Nadal is the king of clay.

Hi guys, just wanna highlight on a very good player from the women's side.
Carla Suarez Navarro.
My good her playing style is beautiful especially her backhand.
You'll be awed but unfortunately her matches aren't shown.
*
Yeah, i agree she's a good player, her one handed backhand is just incredible.

rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I does give her alot of credit for beating Venus Williams in Australian Open.

I see another Nadal-Federer final shaping up.
From the way Roger's playing he'll end up being crushed again if he is to meet Nadal.
*
Hope not. From the way i see his opponents actually played quite well, not giving any excuse but i think he's still playing okay... At least he hasn't lost.

And also Murray, who is playing against Cilic.. Tough match.

Holy Molly, i totally didn't see this coming.. Thought Soderling gonna get thrashed but he came out firing, dominating RALLIES, on clay against NADAL! And his forehand and backhand! HOLLY MOLLY!

Nadal looked angry didn't you see that? He was glaring at the camera man!

this lost opens up the tournament for everyone..

Guess nadal's feeling like how federer felt after losing wimby last year?

He once said that Roland Garros is not the most important title to him... winning another French Open is just like winning other tournaments.. Wimbledon is what he likes the most..

This is ironic because just yesterday i said that Nadal looks unbeatable, and Federer who struggled for 2 matches would have little chance.. Then someone replied saying look at what happened in Madrid.. and now Nadal was beaten, by none other than Soderling, who attacked him like mad. blink.gif blink.gif

Those who said that Nadal didn't attack backhand as usual.. emm look at the match, Soderling's backhand was almost on fire as well, hitting down the line back to Nadal's backhand.. i agree that Nadal missed more shots, but his 1st serve percentage was above 90% at one point.. shows that he's not really palying that bad anyway.
