Bye bye Ivanovic~~~
*
Sigh. This is damn saddening. Thought she would get the momentum after winning the 2nd set.. But this Russian opponent too strong lar. I think Ivanovic lost her confidence since winning French Open. sad.gif sad.gif

Djokovic was also in trouble in afternoon. Nearly forced to 5th set. smile.gif

sigh...ivanovic lost
i think she must get herself together in tennis n not too much of the glamour
she should do sth like jankovic train in the mountains during the off-season n b more fit
*
Problem of mentality or fitness? blink.gif blink.gif

But she did get overpowered by that Russian girl in a few occasions. sweat.gif sweat.gif

But i do agree that she can get even fitness.. no doubt.

Glad that you like it. smile.gif smile.gif

Sad day for me still, with Ana and Wozniacki got kicked out from the tournament. Still Dokic played a great match and its not Wozniacki's fault to lose.. And Wozniacki is cute. rclxms.gif

Quite a number of great matches... not only in the main court.. Like Gasquet vs Gonzalez.. the battle of one handed backhand. Also matches like Nadal vs Haas.. may be tough for Nadal but i believe he can go through no problem.

Also Blake vs Andreev. smile.gif Hope Starsports choose the right matches to show because so many actions will be going on at the same time.

Lolz. So Gonzalez will face Nadal in next round i guess. Sighz, he gonna be so tired after this long 5 sets match... Make it even tougher to beat Nadal. blink.gif blink.gif

Don't want comment on Nadal's match.. He's too dominating today. blink.gif blink.gif

Tomorrow's Schedule - Start time 8AM
QUOTE
Rod Laver Arena

Tomas Berdych (20), Czech Republic, vs. Roger Federer (2), Switzerland

Nadia Petrova (10), Russia, vs. Vera Zvonareva (7), Russia

More good matches tomorrow. Jankovic vs Bartoli should be nice... As Bartoli once beat her in Wimbledon.. shocking!

And also Federer continues his quest to his 14th Grand slam against Berdych.

Match of the day will be Baghdatis vs Djokovic.. I think that Djoko will have a tough match tomorrow. Baghdatis is really playing well.

Omg. Federer was down 2 sets to love, then came back. Now leading 5th set at 3-0. Phew. If he wins this its the big escape now.

Great come back from Federer . Well done.
*
Yeah. Another 5 setters for Federer. How many he can conquer? smile.gif

Good to have a tough match before heading to the latter stages. It would prepare Federer mentally to face a tougher test.

Sighz, Jankovic lost. Thought that this would be a great chance for her to win the first grand slam, but losing to Bartoli? blink.gif blink.gif What the shit.

Safina nearly lost anyway. Serena may be winning this one.

Later got Djokovic vs Baghdatis. What a nice new year eve. sweat.gif sweat.gif

I didn't watch the Bartoli vs Jankovic because i was playing tennis in the morning but i know Bartoli lost quite some weight during the off season.

She is already quite good before she lost the weight but now she's better i guess.

Guess she deserves the victory but still its an upset.

Yeah, someone told me she stood so front to receive serve and scared the hell out of Jankovic. blink.gif blink.gif

Federer has shown us he's a fighter. Last year he was down 2 sets to love to Nadal in Wimbledon final as well, but he forced the match into a 5th set and gave his best to challenge Nadal.

Hope Gonzalez can take one set or two from Nadal. Ngek Ngek.

Huh? Berdych is a rookie? Haha. He has been in the top 10 last time and his ball striking ability is well known.

Its pretty annoying to watch Nadal playing.. seriously.

Ya. Lets see whether Simon can give him some trouble anot.. But it would be tough. At least Simon beat Nadal before last year in Madrid. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

And Murray is out? WTF? I expect more from him. tongue.gif

As long as Federer still in. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif But tomorrow will be another tough day for him.

zzz murray lost, seems like he got no stamina to last for the grand slam sad.gif i'll just support federer now.

Yeah, come on Federer! Show us your skills and determination again to win the Aussie Open! smile.gif smile.gif

Haha, frankly speaking, Nadal's performance so far has been scary and frustrating.. Imagine you playing him and you hit some shots so well yet this guy keep retrieving back to you until you make an unforced error. Feel like strangling him. tongue.gif tongue.gif

Emm.. Its a shock that Murray lost. Verdasco will face Tsonga next. I don't know which one of them can give Nadal a tougher semifinal match.. blink.gif blink.gif

Tomorrow's Schedule

Another tough match for Federer tomorrow against Del Potro. Lets just hope he can win this.

And also Djokovic vs Roddick. Don't think Roddick really like Djokovic after what happened in US Open 2008.

Lolz. Much of the surprise of Bartoli beating Jankovic the No.1 player.

I think Vera just played a much more offensive game than Jankovic, which made Bartoli to move more. You see Bartoli two sides are two handed, if you make her run, hitting angle shots to her, she will be in trouble. blink.gif blink.gif

Now Djokovic vs Roddick. Any chance for Roddick winning? blink.gif blink.gif

Lolz, Dementieva seems relax.
