If Federer meets Nadal in the final, he must be fast to finish off Nadal.. Because Nadal gets better as the match goes longer... Haha.. come on Federer and Safina!!

QUOTE(eason47 @ Jan 30 2009, 01:36 AM) actually i dun wan nadal to get into the final... No what. Nadal lost to Tsonga in semi of Aussie Open 2008. Federer lost to Djokovic at the semi also. coz i think it will make federer more difficult to get back his number 1... coz last year nadal only reached the 4th round of the Australian Open...if not mistaken... by making to final...I think his point will increase more than Federer even if Federer beat him in the final...not sure... just guess... Yeah, i would think that if Nadal is in the final, it would be the toughest test for Federer so far. This Nadal looks more dangerous than last year... Really getting scary. But i still believe that the best Federer can beat the best of Nadal in any day. So Federer has has has has to play his best best best best tennis. No offence to Verdasco, Nadal does look like the favourite for today's semi. ![]() |

Lolz. Why? o.O But seems like if Verdasco can hold his nerve he can beat Nadal today.. He had so many break points.. and he smashed that break point OUT! What a waste shit.. Haha.
But he held his nerve so far... Down breakpoints but saved them! Nadal is faking injury again o.O?? Why everytime he's not leading he sure call for treatment? |

Haha. Finally a hardcourt Grand Slam final between Nadal and Federer. I think this is what the fans have been waiting for.
Time and time again Nadal showed us what a fighter he is.. I mean, this guy is so tough isn't it? He doesn't seem to get nervous or whatever during crucial moments and just keep on fighting... Although i think its not worth for Verdasco to fight so hard then lost the game in a double fault.. A waste.. but he seems to have a nice future. I really hope Federer can play his best form to beat Nadal in the final. And the women's final.. Haha the always forgotten one. Tomorrow Serena will against Safina at 4.30PM. Well, i will support Safina. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Bepeon: Jan 30 2009, 10:53 PM |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Jan 31 2009, 05:51 AM) Q. When you hit a great shot, and you open your palm, what do you mean by this?FERNANDO VERDASCO: Nothing. Is just something that I have with my friend. Is just like hi, you know. But only one special thing I have with one friend that is here with me. The same like do this (clenching fist). Just one thing more. To have motivation and be all the time 100% in the match. Haha. This will answer your question. =) Anyway, don't think Nadal will be so tired that it will affect his performance against Roger.. Because before that he didn't play any long matches at all, all straight sets victory. Even Roger had a 5 setters against Berdych, and its under the sun while this match was in night. Its a great match, no doubt. But the end there 2 double faults, not the right way to lose a such epic match haha. Come on Safina! Win your 1st grand slam final today! |

What a match.. I mean luckily yesterday Nadal vs Verdasco put up a great show.. if not the fans would be angry... =)
Hahaha. Still Serena is a great player, thrashed Sharapova in the final before in 2007 and now another repeat of that against Safina.. She's really so good isn't it? Anyway, now lets wait for the Federer vs Nadal. ![]() This post has been edited by Bepeon: Jan 31 2009, 06:13 PM |

So far Federer's backhand has been good. He just doesn't like to use his favourite slice against Rafa isn't it?
But maybe he believes his backhand good enough to fight Rafa's forehand? Come on Roger! |
