QUOTE(-PatheticSoul- @ Jan 27 2009, 01:31 PM) roddick break service. @@ Djokovic lost the 2nd set and and got broken in the 1st game in 3rd set. Definitely not a good situation for Djokovic. Roddick seems confident so far. Still a long match to go. Dementieva has always been so beautiful. She never gives up improving herself.. and now i think its a great chance for her to win her 1st grand slam.

Swt. Djokovic has given up. Didn't expect this. Is it the fatigue due to the night match against Baghdatis? o.O Its plain shocking!

It would be weird to say that Djokovic doesn't work hard enough to improve himself because he does seem fit. He does have the problem of asthma since young, not sure whether you can solve that. If you say that Nalbandian is not fit i can understand.. But to say Djokovic not working hard enough? I do agree on the him giving up so easily. He has been in such situation for quite a few times. No offense, cause i think no one here really knows how hard does Djokovic work on his fitness. Probably hard to judge a person's fitness by appearance. Federer may not look like the fittest player in tour, but in 5 setters he doesn't seem to have much problem with fatigue either. This post has been edited by Bepeon: Jan 27 2009, 03:05 PM

Haha. Doing weights can increase serve's speed? So far so good for Federer. But if only he can play like that for the remaining matches, then he may win. This post has been edited by Bepeon: Jan 27 2009, 08:09 PM

Haha. Emm. So far Federer has been playing his best tennis in Aussie Open.. but not to be carried away, because still got 2 more matches before he will win the tournament..
And Nadal, he's a different player.

Tomorrow's ScheduleQUOTE Rod Laver Arena - Start time 8AM Carla Suarez Navarro, Spain, vs. Elena Dementieva (4), Russia Svetlana Kuznetsova (8), Russia, vs. Serena Williams (2), United States Fernando Verdasco (14), Spain, vs. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (5), France
Not before 4.30PM Rafael Nadal (1), Spain, vs. Gilles Simon (6), France Haha. Dunno what to say bout the match. Because Roger just played his best tennis and seems hopeless for Del Potro to win when the FedEx plays like that. But if only he can continue playing that in the two remaining match. Next opponent for Federer is Roddick. Not easy. Waiting for Simon to make the upset. But not positive bout that.

QUOTE(tchiaming @ Jan 28 2009, 12:43 PM) gosh i hate serena! Although i don't really like her due to her cockiness, but its nice to have an American in the draw.. If Kuznetsova had won, there would have been 4 Russians in the semifinalists. Serena is just mentally stronger among the women.

Good news. Dementieva has beaten Serena 3 times in the latest 3 meetings between them. But you know that Serena always plays her best tennis in Grand Slam. So it would be quite different to use this statistics to predict the match.
I do hope that Dementieva wins and Safina wins as well.

Haha. Yeah, Simon looks like Edward Cullen. Wawrinka looks like Charlie in Twilight also. Emm. Actually no doubt Nadal has improved tremendously since the off season. Look at his serve and net game. He does not have a weakness now! This is scary because he's so good on clay and now he's so good on hardcourt as well! I think we are getting closer and closer to a Federer vs Nadal final. Unless Verdasco can beat Nadal? Or perhaps Roddick can beat Federer? Tsonga is such a disappointment. Tomorrow's ScheduleQUOTE Rod Laver Arena Not before 10.30AM Elena Dementieva vs Serena Williams Vera Zvonareva vs Dinara Safina
Not before 4.30PM Roger Federer vs Andy Roddick Tomorrow we have the 2 women's semifinals and 1 men's semifinals. Hope Federer will win!

Nervous lar for sure. She can't lose confidence because she has beaten Serena 3 times in a row!! Come on Elena!
Nice shot that made Serena fell on the ground, but double faults twice to lose the serve again. Oh Shit!

Actually Safina is kind of cute. That time after she beat Dokic, the guy interviewed her on court.. She is very pleasant and polite.. even said sorry because she beat their local favourite.. So i'm okay with her. Hope she win her 1st grand slam also.
Haha, Federer played very well today, continued his form... haha Pray pray he will win his 14th grand slam in Sunday!!! Come on!!
