Oh. He wasn't going to play in that tournament but in last moment he decided to join.. So his name wasn't in the entry list and he took the wildcard. =)

I urge all the tennis fans in Malaysia who feel frustrated because of the lack of tennis coverage in Astro write to Astro to voice out ur opinion. It is really getting worse and almost unwatchable this year since Supersport takes over the coverage of ATP Masters Series from Starsports...

Apparently, the coverage isn't getting any better as the semifinals and finals of the coming big tournaments such as Monte Carlo Masters, Rome Masters and even Madrid Masters would not be shown live.... You guys pay for the same amount of fees as any sports fans don't deserve this kind of treatment.

yeah it's aired live...but what's the point of showing those 1st n 2nd round matches live yet delayed telecast of semifinals or finals?! Astro is just plain stupid.

I agree. Whats the point of showing all these early rounds when the matches that really matter like Federer vs Djokovic, Murray vs Nadal won't be shown. I'm not that shortsighted.

Astro probably thinks tennis isn't important at all.
They think as long as we get a little bit of Live matches we'd be sastified.

Its silly either ways thinking about it, having the finals and semifinals being delayed. Yes I know there are football matches during that day itself.... but they aren't treating everyone equally, even if there are loads more people watching football than tennis.

you've answered the reason why they can't please tennis fans. because there is just far fewer tennis fans than football fans. and you please the majority.

this is typical astro bosses/workers mentality..football must always be priorities..and not other sports..that's why we must do our job by screwing them up verbally..

LOL. I'm neutral regarding tennis because in a way, I can understand their predicament on choosing which or what to show. If anything. why doesn't Eurosport Asia show the finals instead of WTA events

But what gets my goat is them showing Spelling Bee competitions or re-runs of Engine Block ahead of NBA Playoffs. WTF?!
