Emm. Not sure.
Federer won 1st set. He's playing his best tennis now.
However, can't watch in Astro due to rain... o.O

federer had a back injury since the paris masters and he's not fully recovered yet that's why he called the trainer alot of times during the 3rd set.
though he lost, he played his heart out and never gave up..that's the old federer..great match! |

it's one the best matches i've watched this season....seriously..
i think it's 2nd to the wimbledon final...it's just a round robin match but the quality of tennis is so high you could sense the fans ain't had enough... fed lost but he really played high quality tennis...though he did commit a lot of unforced errors... now the big problem is will he still come to KL considering his back injury?? |

well if he doesn't..it will be a huge disappointment but i think the fans will understand..
Nevertheless, 2009 is going to be a fantastic year for tennis. hope both Nadal and Federer recovers |

I hope federer doesn't come - I'm looking at his long term career. No point risking health and career over an exhibition match.

well obviously he will knows what's best for him
strange, this is the one match this season that federer lost and i feel happy..probably the way he fought and never gave up..cheers~ so its Djokovic vs Simon and Murray vs Davydenko shud be an interesting match tomorrow and to see how Murray copes with fatigue(maybe) |

i dont really want djoko to win. he might catch up with federer's points! i felt like federer really gave his all yesterday, and it is sad that he still lost. nevertheless, IF he gets back to normal he will still be the man to beat next year.

Surprisingly i'm not that sad that Federer lost.. Maybe because of the condition he was... Back injury and also stomach upset... And he really gave his heart out there.
Haha, well, at least he won the US Open.. which is the key of the season.. Can't wait to see him in Malaysia, although i would prefer him to rest more if he really injured. |
