yeah...Argentina purposely chose indoor carpet rather than clay courts...(Argentines are also famous for their prowess on clay court) coz I think Del Potro n Nalbandian stand a better chance on fast indoor courts against the 2 Spaniards...

Who is the new Justine Henin? I don't see any current players able to replace Henin. Many of them are very inconsistent, especially Ivanovic. Ivanovic is obviously not at her best since French Open. She has been missing alot of shots.. and her movement is quite clumsy too.

Safina seems to have trouble beating the Williams sisters. blink.gif blink.gif

Today's Schedule
QUOTE
Start time 10PM
1. Ivanovic vs. Zvonareva
2. Dementieva vs. V.Williams
3. Safina vs. S.Williams

Lets see whether Ivanovic can qualify for the semifinals... if she can beat Zvonareva then her chance of qualifying will be better.

Hope Dementieva beats V. Williams. tongue.gif tongue.gif

No single-handed backhand cannot be successor to Henin...

I agree that Federer and Murray will make it through in the first group... While Del Potro and Tsonga both have equal chances of making it.

Bepeon: forgot Tsonga has beaten Djokovic in the last 2 matches tongue.gif so i'd agree with you...Tsonga does stand a good chance to qualify to the semis...but I think djoker is planning a revenge...hahahaha! good to see him lose...don't like his cocky face

Seems to be something wrong with Ivanovic since her French Open victory... The once great forehand has not been working and making tons of errors. Doesn't seem to be very fit now... And now she's confirm out of the Championships with 2 losses. sad.gif sad.gif

Same thing with Safina. Lost to Venus and now to Serena yesterday. The serve is really giving free points to the Williams sisters. blink.gif blink.gif

I think the Williams sisters would win the tournament. They really seem to be determined about it. Or maybe Jankovic.

Lolz. Yeah the match was nice.. Just the 3rd set tie breaker... Tsonga could have done much better but he could have lost earlier also hahaha.. so its okay.

Yeah, hope Federer beats Simon.

Andy Murray against Roddick at 8PM.
