Agree with you 95%. I am someone who is part of the military. Not completely military but PART of it. The place i stayed in the academy, they said this and that. Many ppl died here, some even commit suicide. this and that and the place here is haunted at first i was afraid but being a clean person, i practice a habit of bathing at night.

Sometimes i will bath alone in a bathroom which is 10 meter away from my block where there is no one at all. The place is a little run-down. I been practising that almost a year by now. And i havent seen anything they even warn me about that, but i felt the need to bath even at 2am after training. Sometimes i just heard noise, which is different from usual, u know what i mean. Its like no noise usually and suddenly u heard that noise only on particular occasion, but i dun see anything that shows different things such as haunted and so on. Its just human nature. And yea, i`ve been many camps, and met nothing. Consider myself lucky or as TS. U decide.

I'm not too sure but I always think that if you think/assume/ppl tell you that a place is haunted, we perceive any ordinary noise/phenemonon to be unnatural and "ghostly". Example, if I say so and so place is haunted and one visit that place, any noise that one hears, one perceives it's origins to be supernatural cause one's mind has already "pre-set" that fact. Ask yourself, how many of these weird noises do you hear in your own house?

Another reason why these noises are freaky, is cause you don't usually listen to it even when it occurs cause - it is drown out by ambient sound, comfort ( comfort level up, awareness level down. In a "haunted" place, there is usually little to no ambient sound. Therefore, any noise you hear would seem ampliflied. I'm sure there is a perfectly scientific explanation for 95% of all the cases out there. We jump to conclusion too fast....

sharing a few experiences of mine,

the earliest one i can recall is when i was around 7 or 8. sleeping at night, then suddenly heard a scratching noise outside my window. I was on the 2nd floor, so i just open my eyes out of curiosity. Saw a white shape of something that looked like a cross of a pigeon with a big moth. lasted a second or two only then just disappeared. rclxub.gif The street light outside my window is yellow-ish and the "thing" was pure white. fukken scared back then cry.gif

This is not a super impose or photoshop edit photo, it's real!!! My ex-boss gave me that. The guy in the picture is his son.

Story...
This incident happened last year but I can't recall when was it. My ex-boss' son and another friend went to a condominium somewhere in Shah Alam. During they were leaving, they were waiting for the lift, while waiting the lift arrived, they just simply snap some pictures through the camera phone. As you can see the picture quality is so bad. Then the guy in the picture was sitting at the kerb. There is no any structural or support behind the kerb or railing.

After taken the picture, the lift arrived and they were leaving. After that they look back on the picture... gosh!!! They only realised something was behind the guy. They really not believe it will happened. The guy who snap the picture didn't see anything behind that guy in the picture. Luckily, nothing happen on these two guys after that.

Conclusion...
I'm so wondering... why we can't see cleary on 'that' face? It looks quite fake right? But I guarantee you all it's real! If they wanted to make it fake, who dare to stand or sit behind the railing? The fact is... there is no space for you to stand or sit over there. You judge yourself.

Whoa. This thread lasted so long. Nice!~

I got a brilliant idea for you so-called ghost hunters/thrill seekers. Pick a supposedly haunted location like the Highland Towers, deep forest or any other creepy-looking place and then go into the area with your video cameras around 12am-4am. While inside, point your flashlight towards any dark corners, ceilings or if youre in a forest, up in the trees.

And then call out those ghosts. Talk big like you're not afraid of them. Say lines like "Ah! Takde pun hantu. Tak menakutkan lah tempat ni! Aku tak takut lah!".

I can almost guarantee you that you're gonna find what you're looking for. Especially if you're in a forest.

If you dont, well, at least you have the bragging rights to say that you dared to go through it.

Anyway, I just remembered about a haunted house in Subang Jaya. Maybe any of you would like to check it out at night? Here's the address:

iSeekMusic Studio
No. 7, Jalan SS19/4C, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan

Yes, it's a house that has a recording studio in it. The whole place looks scary even during the day, especially the backyard. The resident is a good friend of mine who happens to be the owner of the company and the sound engineer. He had told me a lot of scary incidents that has happened within and around the house's compound. Some of the stories actually involved the members of the local bands Love Me Butch and Seven Collar Tshirt.

Normally I wouldn't believe stories like this 100% but the thing is, he only told me these stories AFTER I told him about my own experience at the house. I was putting on my shoes along with 3 other friends close to 4am after a recording session at the side door of the house. While we were chattering among ourselves about the recording, all of the sudden a manly voice came from the darkness right next to us, calling out the nickname of our sound engineer friend. All 4 of us froze and stared into the darkness for a sec before making a run for it. When we got into the car, we tried to think of possible logical scenarios such as the neighbour calling our friend out but then we realized that the mysterious voice came from an ear-level height at a distance of less than a meter from me and there's no way for the neighbour to do that because the neighbour's house was on higher, elevated ground with a thick concrete wall between the houses. Plus, the wall separating the houses was 2 meters away from me.

Turns out somethin similar happened to his employees who was stacking some stuff after an event, on the same spot. Except that they had gotten a question instead.

"Senyap boleh tak?"

The fangs and wide mouth pretty much confirmed it.

Btw, you might want to go to Lebuhraya Karak around.. 2-3am. That place is infamous for it's haunting. One of my brother's friends, who happened to be one of the guys that visited the Bangsar haunted bungalows kena kacau by a pontianak/lengsuir while driving back alone. And then you also have the famous yellow volkswagen ghost that keeps appearing in front of you even when if you overtake it.

You dont really get the whole point of the ghost car, do you? It's not like they're faster than you. Heck, you can even overtake it with a normal Malaysian car. The only thing is, it will always appear in front of you AGAIN and AGAIN.

I don't think anybody would want to drive any of those cars more than 120km/h at Karak highway at night.

This was told to me by my father on one of his encounter during his young day, when he was working in construction outstation. He was driving along the trunk road in Kemaman in his old junk. That time the road wasnt as nice as our road now. He saw a man walking at the same direction and once he passed the man, he suddenly got the urge of looking back from his rear mirror. What he saw really freaked him out as the walking man was without a face.

The second real story from him was also at the construction site. He was standing at the timbers when a black shadow flying around him at knee level. It passed very quickly but no harm done.

This came from my youngest uncle. He got this from his friend and true enough it is real scary one for me. His Malay friend was holidaying with his family at a well-known waterfall. So once they have done with all the picnic and swimming, it is time to change clothes, pack and go. So the wife was in the midst of changing her child nearby the bushes next to a tall tree. The next thing the husband saw was a pontianiak (red-eyed, long hair in white tattered clothes) standing at the tall tree looking down at the wife and child. The husband hurrilly called and dragged all his members (4 person including himself) back to the car and sped off. The most eerie thing was the pontianak was following them side by side with the car. The pontianak was flying like a superman ( but in the sleeping position, facing up with the feet at the front, looking at them). The 'thing' only stopped when the car crossed the tunnel. I think the 'thing' wont be able to cross the tunnel..the bukit too high..
