yes... must~!
HAY and pellets is a must~!
less vege...
because they need to chew something hard or chew something that takes longer time to finish... in order to shorten their teeth...

try CAVIA complete(sharil intro 1)...
and alfafa + timothy hay...
they best~ ahhahahaa laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Too much calcium diet. White urine means ur piggy is discharging excess calcium. How old is ur piggy already? if less than 3-4months still ok I guess, if over 4months then gotta try cut down their diet that contains high calcium. Get Oat or Timothy hay smile.gif instead of alfafa or else they are gonna get stones

No hays? As far as I know white urine means too much calcium. About running away, try "baby proof" your cage. Check this sites:

Yea hays is a must, its like rice for human and grass for cow. Its a must one, cannot say don't have or don't want. Since ur GP is still young I suggest you to get Oxbow brand quality alfafa hay, later you can change to other hay smile.gif

Dont being crazy... laugh.gif

Ur GP still baby dats mean u must get alfalfa hay right now until they reach 6 month to 1 years then go to Timothy hay.
I suggest u buy at pet shack, they also can advise what GP need if u wanna know more..

I dont think other pet shop can advise what GP need, most of the pet shop pretend they know but they didnt. shakehead.gif

I guarantee pet shack can give great caunseling. thumbup.gif

When their skin gets too dry, their shedding becomes more serious. It's absolutely normal. It should not create bald spots. Bald spots either mean a fungal infection or pests. The only remedy for dry skin is to not bathe your GPs too often. Mine only gets one bath in 3 weeks.

Tomolo they will get their bath. Mwahahahaha....

Once a week is actually too often. I did say, mine only gets a bath once in 3 weeks. In foreign countries, they only bathe their GPs once in 3 months. Cuz our weather is hotter their fur oils up more quickly.

Rumi, you like that also can? Pity Kojiro~~~ Stuck with a macho guy name dy when she's a pretty girl.

@Adriane: Don't use chicken wire. I heard it's poisonous for hamsters, so I wouldn't reccomend it for guinea pigs either.
