tested 3d mark vantage... reached jane nash for awhile, then suddenly black screen... but pc still running cos my media player still playing songs... sign of unstable?

Yup unstable, prolly mem clock too high. Downclock it retry.

Try furmark benching and stability test. See if its stable or not.

use wat softawre to test?? 3dmark? and furmark?

72c is normal for load temps dont worry. What's your current fan speed ?

We normally use 3dmark and furmark for stability testing.

i just tried " the last remnant" benchmark test, and i during the "flying bird monster" stage, there some minor artifact appear, speacially on the sky, where u can see red dot blinking! and i clock my GPU to 700/990 using riva tuner, temp is around 66, and i set my fan speed into 100% or should i change a better vga cooler? coz i using stock cooler now

u use HD4830 rite? tuned down your memory clock.

HD4830 memory clock is hard to oc....but the core clock can fly high

oh ya, my own personal-gpu-stability-test... run DMC4 benchmark with all super high + 8xmsaa, if one doesn't encounter artifact/no-texture screen until the end...i assume the clock is stable

you can try what pikacu said, decrease the mem speed and try the stability testing again.

fly high?? i saw someone can go till 820 core clock with 4830!!!

Please post a benchmark score or any related marks, i want to see the differences between a 800sp(4850) and 640sp(4830).

but 1 thing very weird about 3dmark is that it cannot read my system information, it hang during the splash screen! i need to go to RightClick>properties>target there put " -nosysteminfo" in order to start!

what proc u use there???

i know its a quad but which model?
