there are lots of things that cause vomiting:
-like over eating.. eating too much until the stomach full.
-disease or parasites.
-if the cat is in kitten age, it may be possibility intestinal parasites, such as roundworms, tapeworms
or coccidiosis, which occur because of food sensitivity/allergies. sometimes i can also be common or normal for kitten to vomit.

but when you mention hardly to touch your cat stomach and he/she is vomitting, then i guess you really need a vet for check up. It might be something else, it might be serious.

My 11 yr old cat, Hitam, sometimes vomit out her food, sometimes not. But I don't think Hitam has a bloated tummy though.

There are quite a lot of reasons behind this. Indigestion, those reasons mentioned by Elfreakz and even liver problem. Again, get your cat examined on this since there's no specific answer for this prob.

Here are a list of possible reasons
------------------------------------------
1. Hairballs
2. Worms
3. Over eating (particularly dr food)
4. Allergic
5. Thyroid (particularly older cats)

Further reading, go HERE

Cool, where did you buy FURminator? It looks interesting in the website. Like a razor that removes unwanted hair. I hope my cats won't go botak cos of this, lol. laugh.gif You bought the comb for cats right? How much does it cost?

The vet aredi gave her a jab for liver.. but no change. a week later we go for another jabs, but still.. no change at all. we cannot deworm her at this moment until the hard-stomach symptom disappear.. sad.gif I hope she'll get well soon. She's just 10 month old cutie..

A fren bought for me in Singapore. It costs me S$50.50 = RM121. But another girl from Rabbit Forum V6 got it from ebay with RM90 including postage fee... It works best on DSH cat and rabbits (dogs too.. but u must find a suitable size depends on ur pets). Suitable during molting time or weekly grooming. No fur-snowing like before.. Hee biggrin.gif

No lar, won't die la. Probably 'hypersalivation' (saliva dripping) may occur for awhile. Maybe you can distract the kitten not to lick it.

Every vet has their own opinion, it is up to you how you want it to be. Another thing, it is up to your pocket on how much RM you want to spend. I'm afraid if you over budget, at the end of the day you blame the cat of making your bankruptcy tongue.gif

Yeap royal canin got different type. Have you ever realize that, there is kitten 34 and kitten 36? they are slightly different. The kitten 34 seem to be found in UK. the ktiten 36 seem to be found in US. Kitten 34 seem to be a little cheaper than kitten 36. kitten 34 hard to get in KL, but kitten 36 is everywhere.
well you can feed other good brands beside RC too.. like iams, science plan (a type of brand that recommend by most vets).

9 months you can actually change the food from kitten to adult food already.

I have seen kitten eating adult food since born tongue.gif and believe it or not they are much more heavier and bigger than my cats. You may or may not follow this, because it is up to you, other people cat may survive and become healthier with types of food, others may not.

Just to add, i remember, last time my male kitten get bladder stone (crystal) when eating whiskas and friskies. So then i change the food to iams, and all that stones/crystal gone baby gone. but other people kitten eating the same food and now still running here and there for 2 years already. Moral of the story, different cats different luck smile.gif

Follow the proper way is good, what i meant is, kitten eat kitten food, and adult eat adult food.

Considering your kitten is not overweight. If he/she is overweight, you can change the kitten food to adult food. Why overweight? lack of exercise and play. normally happen to a kitten that spend life in a cage for to long or no friends to play.

yes..i agree..my male cat also had bladder problem before but since i change to royal canin brand the problem is solved..but if the whiskas or frieskies is bad to our cat it will not sold nation wide..like elfreakz said..different cat different luck tongue.gif
