to TS, is it 1st month bill??
there is a few cases I encountered b4..similiar to this...to be simple, it was a system error..ur friend got the prove..

1. it's D98 unlimited package
(there's a possibility of wrong assignment of items in the package. eg:they don't remove "GPRS pay-per-use" inside the package which came by default in every postpaid package nowadays)
2. user also said no calls in/out
3. credit limit surely failed to work,ask them why...

but...if he/she used it for sms...100days100cars..it'll b hard..but still cn be argued on #3 item. my prev experience..it's happy ending to user,no worries n chill out!

i'm celcom user with same package as this person use.. RM98 is unlimited data 3G "browsing" only.. otherwise 3G video call, MMS will extra charge.. believe or not.. sebelum ni i masih berhutang dengan celcom RM5k++ becos unpaid bil for 6 years ago.. pada mulanya tunggakan hanya RM800 shj.. dan baki RM4k+++ tu "BUNGA" sebab tidak menjelaskan bayaran.. Celcom is another ALONG ~

n can get the powerful hardware for pc gaming..hehhehe

got utang ah? never encounter this...i oso got utang wit celcom..but never increase one....when i wanted to open new line..they give me discount some more.. no need to pay full...

i think the possibility behind all this thng is the reason no 1...
reason no 3 i heard i mainly for calls and sms...excluded from the internet usage...try n reconfirm with them again..

i think just a small computer glitch la.. nothing to worry about.
just give the cs a call and it shud be settled.
so it means, ur friend transfered 800mb worth of data in 1 month time
if calculated as 1k=10sen

Isn't unlimited data plan = Unlimited? Capped only by the credit limit?

This I tell you, can make Celcom pull of their ™ advertisment cliche line of "Cheapest Rate". Here is some simple maths

RM 8478.80 / 31 (Assuming everyday line usage and 24 hours) = RM 273.48 Per Day

31 Days x 24 = 744 Hours of Usage

RM 8478.80 / 744 = RM 11.40 per hour.

So basically for one hour you use this stuff,

1 Plate economic rice (Ipoh) = RM 2.30 (RM 11.40 / 2.30 = 5 plates) Can feed your whole family.
1 Litre Esso F1 = RM 2.70 (RM 11.40 / 2.30 = 4.2 Litres) Almost around 4 bottles of Spritzers.

if its his usage, then he has to pay. if he's innocent and wrongly charged, he could seek michael chong.

if i'm not mistaken celcom's data charges 10 cent per kb. so that shud be 800mb he downlaoded ?

RM 11.40 per hour is quite cheap actually.

When roaming here in Middle East, the data plan rate is MYR 4 per 100kb + roaming charges of MYR 4 per minute.

I believe this is one of d ad in cine...Who say now? Got bonus or rebate meh? What a shocked! RM8000++...
