I was passing by yesterday so I turned in to check New Lai Heong. Yes, it is there next to the skinchan ikan bakar. Passed by the kitchen, it's much smaller than before. I saw only 1 cook there compared to last time around 5 cook. I wonder if they still serve very quickly.

no i is not. ful lai has been in operations for countless numerous years. their quality and servings are still top notch and non comparable as others dont even come close.

ful lai is also 24 hours and has loads and loads of people dining in it.

fu lai's food is not bad but I find them to be too expensive. For that kind of price, we should be getting fully air-conditioned restaurant with local waiters. Instead, we get hot coffee shop with all foreign workers.

No doubt they have the history of good food but their quality has deteriorate a lot since they open up the kepong branch. I do not go there often because at that price, I can eat a lot of more things. Like bak kut teh and so on.

Lit Heong is now known as Sen Lee Heong
Add: 1 Jln 1/38A Segambut Bahagia (near Sri Sinar)
Tel: 03-6258 5987
It's opposite Sekinchan Ikan Bakar.

We tried the curry fish head and lala in rice wine sauce (seong tong lala). Fish head curry is okay but lala sauce was a bit bitter and so-so only. Small portion is RM20/plate for both dishes. Will return to try other dishes.

Added on January 19, 2012, 9:17 pmAnother new restaurant is Long Foong at Tmn Sri Sinar, Segambut (along same row as KFC).
Their marmite chicken quite nice. Kangkong belacan very salty. Sweet-sour fish slice (toman) is also quite nice.

1. fu lai open until 2am only right?
2. many dimsum in fu lai taste the same, just look different
3. try eating there at night, its so fresh you can see the skin of the dimsum still got flour :s
