In Kepong Baru, there is a restaurant opposite of ninja mamak (famous for fried chicken). That restaurant at night is selling fried noodles and rice. I would recommend the fried rice. I find it very nice as they use char siew. It is typical to those charsiew fried rice you get in expensive restaurants. This shop selling it for RM5 which I think is reasonable. I give a rating of 5/5 as it is my type of taste. Only problem is that this restaurant is next to a gambling dent which is not so suitable if you bring kids or girlfriends (who are turned off by these shady places).

Went to Hoo Yee Kee for their loh mee just now. Was okay. The loh mee there is more light version although I would prefer it to be dark abit. Hehe

However, a walk around the area found a few places with alot of customers.

lai lai heong father stop cooking though, they open the shop at Segambut ( Sri Sinar )

You know the Sekinchan Ikan Bakar there at sri sinar? just behind there only. its call new lai heong.

I was passing by yesterday so I turned in to check New Lai Heong. Yes, it is there next to the skinchan ikan bakar. Passed by the kitchen, it's much smaller than before. I saw only 1 cook there compared to last time around 5 cook. I wonder if they still serve very quickly.

We tried the curry fish head and lala in rice wine sauce (seong tong lala). Fish head curry is okay but lala sauce was a bit bitter and so-so only. Small portion is RM20/plate for both dishes. Will return to try other dishes.

Their marmite chicken quite nice. Kangkong belacan very salty. Sweet-sour fish slice (toman) is also quite nice.

for me is kepong ful lai dimsum the best
for dinner time is at hin long restoran oposite the jusco.
then for prawn noodle is at ktz that row there. best like mad. open evening also.
