hey u calibrated ur speakers/sub to how much db??

my bluray movie volume = 0db
astro = 23-26db
pc music = 20
pc games = 15
ps3 games = 15
dvd = 10-15

theres a trick i read and tested which is said to work well for bass.. set ur bass at amp to -2 and set crossover at 80hz.. hmm cant remember what it does but i remember the forum getting excited about it.. hah.

Even at vol -10db is still considered Deafening to most people my friend........


My normal movies vol level is at -28db average. Sometime need to tune down due to film louder recording.
I can feel what is it like to go down to critical level of -5db especially watching action packed movies.
One thing for sure I really salute you.......... for few reasons below:

1. Your speakers & sub can really accomodate for such Power-Up volume.
2. YOu must have a dedicated sound proof HT room to keep the rattling sound under control
3. If not, your neighbour is very Audio-friendly and considerate ppl
4. Your heart & ears are very healthy..........

To me, my heart will be pounding fast, my head , my whole body call for especially watching Iron man
or Transformers movies.............YOu are truly insane my friend. Your speakers must have felt the same too on its owner..........phew!

My HT is pretty much soundproof except for LFE. I can feel the bass outside of the room
