yup, just typing about it makes me feels, melancholic..

a bit happy, to see Shadow Moses in HD..and a bit sad, to see Snake facing the ghosts of yesteryears. Personally for me, MGS1 had the best storyline, the best villains and the best epic bossfight. Any villain from toehr videogame can topple Liquid Snake and his Foxhounds? Or does any character in any videogame tangos with a 16 feet tall bipedal mechanical tank capable of launching ICBMs? Have you even came across a vidoegame plot, so twisted that it makes you not trusting even your CO? I thought so.

the time when seeing the heliport of shadow mosses, with the song playing in the background.. alot of emotions and feelings coming into my mind.. hahaha laugh.gif

yes, this game is one of the best game with good graphics and sound. shouldn't have missed it.

story line MGS is the best, but when talk about villains i would say MGS3 has the best villains.

Thats the thing, the debate abotu the best villains has always been about MGS1 or MGS3. Dead Cell was...meh..and The Beauty and Beast Corps.well..for me the only reason they are awesome is because they are in HD.. laugh.gif..but for character depth and development, they are just like bosses that made no sense to the story and just wait for you in the end of each level.

that's the case.. MGS3's villian, Only Ocelot is good. and MGS1, err? Liquid?

why not vote the best MGS villian of all time

category:

1. creativity (boss fight)

2. Story Related/biggest impact to the story

3. costume design (dun compare consoles)

4. Voice acting

5. Most Handsome

6. Most Beautiful

---

sub category

7. most annoying

8. most boring

9. ugliest

10. most stupid

try MGS Ghost Babel for GBC, the villains are called the Black Chamber, personally, I thought they were like some kind of Foxhound clones! laugh.gif

MGS2 bosses still ok, at least they still have story development. but the problem is that the bosses is like clone of MGS. 1st olga, 2nd, fat guy, 3rd aircraft, etc etc. I was like fighting the MGS boss again but with a thinner/younger/feminine "snake".

MGS3 bosses is quite different, at least, they give me a feel of NEW boss. each with a different emotion theme. "rookie" ocelot, bugs, poison arrows, sniping, flame thrower, spooky river ride, electrify mad man, shagohood and god like the boss. i just wont feel boring in fighting over and over again.

MGS4, the bosses totally have nothing to do with the main story, they were like crazy b!tches running on street trying to get a hand on snake. just that! but fighting them, for me, its still different from previous series bosses. I do enjoy hearing that laughing octopus laughing and crying wolf crying laugh.gif screaming mantis battle makes me remind the super memorable battle with psycho mantis..

so, overall, my rating for boss in each episode:
MGS3 -> MGS -> MGS4 -> MGS2

I remembered playing the MGS:GB long time back.

I hated the sewer part in the story.

And the VR missions in the game had the exact same structure as the one in the PSX version of MGS:VR missions.. Man those were the days.

For me, the most annoying boss fight was The End in MGS3. Try using a stun weapon to drop his stamina. laugh.gif

I really hate the part , the box on the conveyor belt puzzle doh.gif

spent like 3 hours on that ALONE!

And that game has a 2 player mode, so MGS is the FIRST stealth action game that had a multiplayer mode, not Splinter Cell like most people claim tongue.gif

no issues here.
try deleting the install data and reinstalling it again.

as for the B&B...could it be because MGS and MGS2 lacked female villains?
only "eva"(not really a protagonist in the end) the boss and sniper wolf.

the soldiers all men.lol

thats the thing that disturbs me actually. it was not like the previous instalments. did anybody from the higher ups interfered in the game producing aspect? usually, each boss in MGS holds certain relevance with Snake and the storyline, not the BB Corps. The battles were fun yes, but their backstories are too lame. I mean come on? a cannibal beauty? fcuk that shit man.

in the beginning of ACT4, when suddenly the original Metal Gear Solid appeared on screen... I was like...???

2 stupid things that I did

1. My reflex automatically pushed the right analogue stick to adjust
camera angle..
2. Got into one of the truck on the top leftmost of the base... and asked
myself... "Hey! Where's the SOCOM?"
