Cool, nonetheless.

The guy used his PlayStation Eye (it looks like that) and focused it on the page.

Then on the Koji-pro site it shows the magazine with a Cardboard box where the ? was on the magazine.

He used the ArToolKit program or something similar to fake the whole thing.

So all this guy would have had to do was make a basic 3d model of a box, then tell ARToolKit to make the box appear when the camera sees the ? in a box, then print off a fake ad with his symbol, and put it on a back of a magazine.

The fact that he went through all that trouble just to fake something like this, shows the inordinate amount of time on his hands.
