The following guide i took from game faqs, just to clear things up
--No humans killed
The kill stat increases when you kill someone with a lethal weapon or you
tranquilize someone and they fall to their death. The exception to this is
frogs clinging to walls. Gekkos and scarabs don't count and neither do tanks.
Any frogs I tranquilized during the Act 1 sequence and also the Act 3 bike
chase that fell to their deaths did not count as a kill. I have heard that
tranquilizing PMCs that are on ladders does count as a kill. I haven't tested
this yet.
Falling to death from being tranqed does not add to your kill. I've done that a lot in the Act 1 FROGs attack and I even saw a FROG fall to its death (no Zs when lying on the floor) right before me during the Mantis battle and I still got my Big Boss rank in the end. Gamefaqs doesn't get some things right all the time, they even claimed that Gekko's explosion causing PMC death results in a kill on your side but again, I've done that a lot but I still have 0 kills.--No humans killed
