Well, Muffin, for my Koto Psylocke, it was before Koto Colossus. Since Colossus, the Kotobukiya polystone pieces seemed to have gone up in quality.
So, for my Psylocke, I had to do touch ups myself. After touch ups, she's lookin great as she should be. I also added my own scruff/scratches to the Sentinel hand base. The original was too clean. Like it came out of a Sentinel show-room. I made it battle damaged/scarred. The costume/swimsuit lines were all wobbly. I had to line them up with Tamiya paint. The X on the sash was also not painted well. I took black paint and red to tidy it up. Of course the biggest thing was the arm pit rash the size of map. They sprayed orange paint there, but it was way too big. Covered it up with flesh paint. Lips were crooked, fixed it myself lovingly with Tamiya paint too. I still have a lot of leftover paint unused. Nothing new for me to fix so far. ^^ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by demonhunter360: Feb 23 2012, 09:02 PM |

QUOTE(Timemuffin @ Feb 23 2012, 04:04 PM) in regard to your Jagung terminology, I forsee ARH bankrupt in the coming years. I doubt their specialty in sculpting bare tits (male and female) can hold its own in the market. That's true, Hard Hero is closing down now....don't know who is next.i keep reading stories that GG was THE statue company many years ago. then due to product over saturatoin or delay they become like non existent nowadays. eh hows your koto psylocke polystone? is it as good as the maggie show above? i recall a lot of paintjobs mishap for that one. Koto nail the Jim Lee look better than SS Jim Lee PF imo. Koto Psylocke for sure has a better sculpt, I just don't like the paint.......Of all, Bowen has the best sculpt, design and paint, but size is not good.....SS is only all about size...and now they come out with 1:2 scale, I bet they are the leader in the market now....talk about the price, they had been keep on increasing the price for the statues tremendously...I don't know if this has something to do with China, but my last shipment of Rogue PF Ex. is crap! QUOTE(mywii @ Feb 25 2012, 12:11 PM) you actually can stick those one sided foam tape to cover those gap in your detolf. Cheaper than acrylic case. I worry it may look too "obvious".I am seriously running out of display space in my house. Not that I have large collection, mind you. I need to buy single display cube scatter around my living room, example next to TV set. Anyone have idea where to get it? |

Muffin, she's called Space Host. Currently, PrototypeZ is offering it as an unpainted model kit.
This model kit builder assembled and painted her after buying the kit. He made it red instead of black. She comes with an alternate "normal" arm. I am waiting for the preassembled-prepainted PVC statue of Space Host. I think Erick mentioned that she would be made by Yamato. Looks like there are already 2 consumers who painted their space hosts in different colour schemes. The other one is green. ^^ http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=125326 ![]() ![]() ![]() Pics by Panzercreations. |

i remember seeing pictures of Space Host @ SDCC but it was under YamatoUSA. YamatoUSA has been very quite with their Dark Fantasy line lately...
I don't think I could ever get into model kits due to 1. no skill to paint 2. cannot untrain my brain to unsee the piece on how it was suppose to be.. |

Mmm....Horse Face aka Beta Ray Bill. The only being who was worthy and able to lift the Mjolnir hammer, that Asgard gave Beta Ray Bill his own hammer similar to Mjolnir called Stormbreaker. He was even confused by the Asgardians at first to be Thor himself.

Wah so long never see BRB. Too bad marvel space heroes line (Nova,Surfer,BRB) didn't really take off, and they are relegated for cameo apperance role.
Anybody ordered the Vamprilla comiquette or PF? I have a sudden thought of getting her as a companion piece to the future Elvira PF. |
