you guys not scared the white of the stormtrooper armor will turn kuning over the years?
i kinda prefer clone troopers and their ridiculously large rifles.

This one easy to paint back white if turn yellow. I do not think it will turn yellow Coz not plastic, right?

Hi... I m new here. I've just started collecting Statues. Have been visiting most Toy shop in Malaysia. It is pretty hard to buy the cool stuff that I see on this forum. Looks like PreOrdering new released is the only option. Is there a place where collectors got bored with their statues and looking forward to sell them?

Many shops don't want to stock statues, probably due to high cost.... so they only take preorders or late orders (if available).

Most of time, collectors also sell at higher than cost price ... that's the trend of collecting anyway... demand vs supply. You'd be lucky to find cost price or below cost, on ebay or forums.

@veryHOTice You have nice taste! Those 3 statues are in "grail" status. It's still possible to find those but will cost you 2 arms and 2 legs . Just be very careful on the IM Comiquette though, there's a recast of this statue. I don't have any of these 3 and I might never will. Good luck to you!

Be prepared to pay at least rm2 to 4k for each.

Are you sure those are your starting pieces? Take a look at all the nice statues that are yet to be released .... lots of stuff to consider. This hobby is not once off, it's ongoing. More & more stuff constantly releasing. Be patient.

Impressive hunt you have there. Some nice ones to add to your list... Dr doom pf, Thor pf, spiderman vs hulk, darth vader and a lot of $$ 1:1 or 1:2 collectibles.

Walaueh... you guys are pretty poisonous... I m already been drawn into looking at that 3 piece of pure work of art... i m only hoping to get it. So far... from the new list of releases, nothing is close to that 3 masterpiece. That Dr Doom PF is also a great piece but it is way too expensive. I have seen people selling it for RM7k. I m not sure about Venom and Captain America and that Iron Man piece. Hopefully... it is way cheaper... like 1/3 of the Dr Doom price...

Malaysian market is very small for statues, smaller than singapore, our currency too weak.

Maybe you can look at singapore market for cheaper deals or international etc.

You only interested in marvel i presume. Some nice ones i can think of that are coming soon ... rogue, cyclops, angel, iron man mark6, thor, destroyer, etc

1) is it too late to start collecting?
2) will there be reissue or better versions?
3) buy previous release at higher price?
4) when to stop?

1)Never too late. Companies always find ways to get new followers. With new movies being released, more statues will be made for sure. I'm already worried about the avengers release.

2) Not reissue but more versions

3) Depends on wallet and poison resistance

4) As long as wallet, space and conscience allow. As for me, i've got a long string of preorders to come
