Could see t commotion here... I'm a customer of Nick and he has recommended me an amulet, not very pricey but if was effective at my weakest point of life. Customers were hard to please and always taking advantage, making unreasonable comments and demands.

After getting his amulet along with a tiny token he had given free to me.. Things changed drastically...even the toughest customer came and apologize to me! And people come and go without making much trouble. Things went smoothly for me.

Well i don't know whether his amulets are original or fake but it works for me.

Nick, i brought wat rakang somdej from you.. And i went back to wat rakang in bangkok to repay smile.gif

The Divine Lord Of Khao Sam Yord

Luang Pu Boon Reung Apassaro(aka Luang Pu Reung), Divine Lord of Khao Sam Yord. Phra Ariya Song or Noble One of Phra Arahant cave at Sam Yord mountain in Lopburi. The cave was 3 km above ground level. Luang Pu stay and practice Dhamma in total seclusion and solitude for more than 40 years. Previously, nobody ever passed by and even know about it. The Lopburi soldier were practicing their live firing on top of the mountain as permanent routine. Although they didn't know that His Holiness was spending his rain retreat at the peak, it didn't pose any threat to Luang Pu either.
One day, the troop came to know when they went up and a lot of them requested to be Luang Pu disciples. Luang Pu ever came down of Khao Sam Yord in BE2542 (1999) before returning again in BE2546 (2003). Presently, Luang Pu is 94 years old with 74 Pansa. Luang Pu is a Kammathana monk who has very high mind power in this present era. Whoever let Luang Pu bless their amulets, with merely a blow from Luang Pu will rendered the amulets with miraculous power and efficacy. Having unexplainable experiences as mysterious as it may be.
Luang Pu Reung was born on Sunday 10 January B.E.2457 (1914) in the year of Tiger at Ampher Bahn Sarng Changwat Prachinburi. Luang Pu was the son of Mr Kampan and Mrs Sri Suksan and had altogether 7 siblings. Luang Pu original name was Boon Reung. In B.E.2477 (1934) at the age of 20. Luang Pu ordained at Wat Sak Koi Ampher Syee Maha Poh Changwat Prachinburi. Phra Samut Jampa Wat Sak Koi the Jhow Kana Tambon Coke Pib was Luang Pu's Preceptor. Luang Pu received his ordination name as Apassaro.
Luang Pu spent his rain retreat and studied Dhamma Vinaya and various knowledge and art with the Preceptor for 10 years. Luang Pu had also sat for Dhamma test at the age of 23. Apart from that, Luang Pu studied Pali language, astrology, herbs and various spell and charm. After spending enough time in his study, Luang Pu began his tudong travel at Issan and then returned to Lopburi, Piboon cave. Luang Pu spend his rain retreat in this cave near Wat Phra Bart Nam Put for 5 years.
Luang Pu searched and found Phra Arahant cave at Khao Sam Yord. In BE2493 (1950) Luang Pu went up to spent his rain retreat at the peak for a long period of time. When Luang Pu taken up abode at the peak only very little people have the opportunity to pay respect to Luang Pu because Luang Pu was staying inside the cave. Fruit and vegetable was Luang Pu only food offered by the villagers such as pumpkin(which later pumpkin became main substance in mixing to produce amulets of initial period which was pressed with hands).
Luang Pu Reung had bright complexion contrary to the robe of Luang Pu which was old, dull and worn out. Luang Pu used the 3 refuge as his meditation theme in his practice. Initially, Luang Pu never came down of the peak other than merely once. It was when Luang Pu was sick then a group of close disciples working in the hospital brought Luang Pu down from the peak to see the doctor.
There was once, the soldier were having live firing at the mountain. Luang Pu was making a short cut there but the soldier were not aware. Just when the soldier were firing they saw Luang Pu passing by. The soldier were surprised and shouted to alert Luang Pu but it was too late. The bullets were shot right at Luang Pu with sound as loud as explosion and the place became very smoky. The soldier ran over to have a look and saw Luang Pu walking unperturbed like nothing have happened.
They asked Luang Pu where did he came from? Luang Pu told them he was staying at the peak and walked up the mountain. The soldier chased after Luang Pu but can't catch up with him and were left behind astonished. In later period, beginning since B.E.2538(1995). Luang Pu opened the door of opportunity to allow his faithful devotee to go up and pay respect to him. Since then,a lot of devotee gradually went up to the peak. Later, Luang Pu shifted to a little hut 10 km outside of the cave.
In B.E.2542 (1999) Luang Pu descended Khao Sam Yord in order to teach his disciples the way of practicing Dhamma. Together with Phra Anya Nhoo Payak Choti Panyo they developed temples and residence of Sangha in Lopburi and many nearby places such as Wat Hua Chang Lopburi. It was also to spent the rain retreat when tudong to practice Dhamma in various province such as Pathumthani and Maha Sarakham.
In the end, Luang Pu resided at Suan Boon Prod Poopa Potisat Tambon Bu Pleaung Ampher Nam Yeun Changwat Ubon Ratchathani.

Bia Gae, Luang Phor Up, Wat Thong Sai.

Bia Gae

The magic science to create Bia Gae amulets was known and inherited from the Ayuttaya Period or at least 400-500 years ago and many believe that the tradition is older than that.

Bia Gae (Cowrie/Cowry/Seashell, commonly filled with mercury and takrut) is a special kind of amulet which is widely use to avoid and protect from Black Magic, Evil Forces, Ghosts and Spirits.

Cowrie or Cowry shell is a very beautiful shiny tropical sea shell, it is humped back sometimes decorated with spots like a leopard skin. During ancient time in China, South East Asia and Africa, it was commonly used as coin or money. The Thai people called it Bia Gae and used it instead as a talisman for protection. The arched back of cowrie is like a shield and therefore it is believe that it could bounce off evil energy, similar to tortoise shell was employed by Feng Shui master in China for warding off bad energy. Mercury was also filled inside the cowrie, takrut then placed at the gap of the cowrie, and sealed tightly with special ingredients preventing it from leakage. Sometimes, it will be tied around with strings and painted with lacquer.

The wearer believes that he will be protected against: black magic, bad luck, evil forces and demons. Bia Gae are known to be effective for protection and in particular from evil influences and malevolent spirits. It is not uncommon for persons on their death bed to request such an amulet as protection from spirits that will endlessly disturb and torture the dying. It is said by some that such amulets will also help to set the soul free and give protection beyond the grave, ensuring a smooth passage into the next life.

(The details about Bia Gae amulet is from others website. Just used for reference.)

Buddha's Footprint, Rian Kathin Pidta 1st Batch, Silver Material, Luang Phor Maha Surasak, Wat Pradoo (B.E. 2553)

This medal was Chanted After Rain Retreat and Wai Khru Ceremony.

Buddha's Footprint - Amulet of Buddha's footprint symbolize Buddha's presence in his teachings - the dharma and enforce the fact that he was a mortal man who walked the earth. It reminds us that the spiritual life has its feet on the ground, and that while we aspire to 'transcendence', we should never lose awareness of the material plane of existence. At the same time, a disembodied foot speaks of Buddha's absence, the absence of the human personality, and by extension, his non-attachment to this life.

Buddha's footprint, or Buddhapada is one of the anionic symbols of Buddhism - which is to say, it doesn't attempt to be a true likeness of the master. For years after Buddha's death - in keeping with the master's instructions (according to some believers) - his disciples kept Buddha's physical incarnation out of the teaching. Images like the lion, the dharma wheel, the begging bowl and footprint served to invoke the master's presence.

The first 'footprints' were engraved in stone. Traditionally, the toes of the feet are of equal length. These carvings bear the imprint of the Dharma Wheel at the centre of the sole. Other Buddhist symbols might have been applied as well. In some more elaborate versions of the footprint, an aspect or event in the Buddha's life is displayed. Sculpted images of the Buddha's footprints appeared long before any statues and carvings depicted the human form of Buddha, which came several centuries later.

Buddha's footprint comes in another form called a 'relic'. These are naturally occurring rock formations in the shape of a footprint. One Japanese author has found 3,000 such relics throughout Asia, including 300 in Japan and 1,000 in Sri Lanka. Myths have grown up around some of the relics, including the Buddha's 'magical' visits to those countries that have perpetuated his teachings. Many of these 'natural' footprints have become places of pilgrimage for the devoted. The most famous are located in Sri Lanka, Thailand and China.

Devotees treat the footprint as something to gaze upon and to touch with reverence. Others see it as a kind of magical object that is imbued with the Buddha's energy. Sculptures of the footprint are often protected in special temple structures, to which visitors pay homage with offerings and flowers. In religions and cultures around the world, people have long shown their respect and devotion by venerating the feet of deities, gurus, and saints - indeed, anyone who is held in high esteem. The practice, very much alive today, involves bowing to the ground and, with the head or fingertips, touching the feet of 'the holy one'.

Buddha's footprint is a powerful reminder that the ideas of a single individual can transform the world, that spiritual pursuits take place in a material world, and they may act to help a believer to 'follow' in Buddha's path and his teachings, literally by 'following in his footprints'.

Effect: It has superb power of protection, prosperity, harmony, avoiding negative influences or chi, black magic, winning over business competition.

Somdej Toh Buccha, Wat Rakhang Kosittaram (Temple of the Bells) (B.E.253x).

Size: (5 x 5 x 8.5) inch / (length X width X height)

SOMDEJ PHRA PUTTAJARN TOH PHROMARANGSRI (SOMDEJ TOH)

Somdej Toh was born in 17 April B.E.2331 in the 7th years of Groong Rattanagosin era of King Rama 1st. Even though Somdej Toh may act rather unfashionably but never capriciously he had been known as a highly eccentric monk. The legend has is that King Rama the fourth favord him a great deal. it was also known that King was a true expert on astrology and astronomy to the extent that he could even predict the solar eclipse in advance. The king together with his son along with the diplematic corps proceeded to WhaKoh in Prachaub and withnessed the solar eclipse - an event which surprised everyone-concerning his ability in mathematical and astrological prediction.

Before he ascended to the throne he was voted unanimously by the nobility to leave monkhood and became the King of Siam. Being a keen astrologer, he believed that the birthchart of Prince Issaresrangsarn, his younger brother, was excellent so he appointed him anohter king called "Phra Pinklauo". It was also believed that the birthchart of Somdej Toh was also examined by the king as Somdej Toh did but the king were displeased with such plagiarism.

According to his birthchart, it was known that Somdej Toh was a very intelligent and highly capable monk. At the time that he was born, the "Sri" or special merit was upon his ascendant. This means he would be well-known and well respected. His Mars would help him in terms of hard work. At the same time his Mars proved that he was simply an orphan so he turned to Buddhism. His Jupiter happen to be one of the highest point which certainly testifies to the fact that his intelligence was high whereas his Venus shows that he did not crave for any wealth, Saturn as well as Rahu Proved that he did not long for any possession and would live very long. His Majesty King Rama the fourth was well known for his prediction and treatise on astrology. He found that Somdej Toh's birthchart was amazingly good. In fact it would be far more scientific to suggest that the moment of conception would be the time when the influence of the planets would be more significant. King Rama the fourth also put forward his own interpretation for the planets without conflicting with any traditional astrological beliefs. Those who are interested in astrology may also try to interpret their signs according to King Rama the fourth's interpretation, they will be surprised that it is accurate and can explain the psychic nature that sees through to their real inner personality.

Judging from the signs as well as personality and character it is believed that Somdej To had attained a high degree of emlightenment and could perform prescience. Once he was asked in front of a stupa what would be stuck up inside the niche, he answered "Two frogs" and it turned out that the two frogs could not find the way out. The niche was then broken apart to let them go. His life was full of meritorius activities and he had been helping the poor all along. This is why the Thai people do find him a great and respectable monk. Somdej Puttajarn Toh was known to be a sagacious and intelligent monk and yet his conduct was rather eccentric. No one would act the way he did. At one time his disciples quarreled with each other and were about to use violence, if he should stop it, it would be natural but he did otherwise. He simply went to see the disciples bringing along candles and joss-sticks and prostrated himself, gave the disciples a deep bow and said "You all are very great. Allow me to be your simple disciple"

The disciples, upon seeing this, stopped the quarrel right away. Somdej Puttajarn Toh made another bow and said:-"I did not manage well and it's not your fault. Please put the blame on me." Somdej Puttajarn believed in the Buddhist way of conquering anger with non-anger. Once his disciples were playing Takraw, a ball of woven ratten strips. upon learning this incident he went up there with clothing folded upon his head and said "May I join this game." The players immediately stopped playing and there was sense of guilt among them. He often exchanged ideas and opinions with foreign missionaries. Once he was asked where the poles of earth are. He took the missionary to the ground and pointed at it. saying "It is right here". The missionary then asked him how he knew about it. He said the earth is round and if we draw the line across the earth it would simply be here with is another pole.

There had been a saying concerning him that he resided in AYUTTHAYA, came to stay at CHAIYO, grew up in WAT INDRA dad keeps Buddist precepts at WAT RAKHANG, denoting several places where he had lived. He built up Luand Poh To, a hugh image, at Wat INDRA but he passed away before the construction was completed. As for Buddha images that he created, it is believed that he should have known a number of royally sponsored artists or "Chang Sipmoo" who also helped him to design these images. His incantation used as magic spell or charm also came from Sri Lanka or Ceylon. People who chant his incantation are free from any discases and should also be happy with all the praises and blessings. Somdej Puttajarn Toh also translated and adapted the verses from Pali into Thai.

The stories and legends concerning Somdej Puttajarn Toh seem innumerable, especially known to be the king of all little Buddha images. Chao Phrya Srisuriyawongse (Cuang Bunnag) who had been Regent for some 5 years before King Rama the fifth became of age so his duty and work expired. The Regent was then raised to the position of Somdej Chao Phrya Barommahasrisuriya-wongse. However, the legend has it that he might betray the King which had been untrue. Somdej Puttajarn Toh walked with torch lit up during day time and went over to see the Regent asking directly "is it true of not true? If it should be true, i would ask you to stop it right away." The regent, ofcourse, agreed to end such rumor.

Somdej Puttajarn Toh had been very familiar with the Regent who asked him to give sermons from time to time. His sermons were full of examples and stories which today still remain easy for understanding. He was very sagacious and highly intelligent in the sense that he was truly a genius. When King Mongkut ascended to the throne at the age of 69, Somdej Puttajarn Toh was then 81 years old and became Puttajarn, an ecclesiastical title, for 3 years or so. He was then in the autumn of his life and asked a monk called Phra Puttabatpilan (Tad) to be the abbot of the monastery. M.L.Phra Maha Swang and Prom Suddipong drew some 21 scenes of pictures covering Somdej Puttajarn (Toh)'s lifetime based upon the explanation given by 88 years-old Chao Khun Phra Thammatavorn (Chang) as follows:- Once Prince Duang, King of Cambodia, graciously invited him to give a sermon. On the way to his residence, there were many tigers around. So he asked the tigers to take full rest, not harassing the people anymore. He journeyed to the prince's palace on a palanquin instead of being driven by cart led by buffalos or cows since he did not prefer that type of journey.

The sermon was then given to the prince and Cambodian people concerning unity. King Mongkut was pleased with this sermon. Somdej Puttajarn (Toh) decided to buld a monastery called Ketchaiyo. The construction was assisted by King Mongkut and Prince Pinklauo as well as foreign residents such as Indians,Farang,Cambodian,Lao,Mons and Chinese. This monastery become famous and was visited by a large number of people all the time. It had been widely known that Somdej Puttajarn (Toh), former about of Wat Rakhang, and King Rama the fourth who had been a monk also for a long time, had known each other well. When the king ascended to the throne, he would allow the Somdej to do what he liked and always found him a sagacious monk. Once King Rama the fourth held a boat decoration contest where different state agencies sent beautiful boats for the occasion Somdej Puttajarn also came in an ordinary boat, with a monkey staying there.

The King certainly found that the Somdej would never enter the contest since he was a monk who desired no power nor any other worldly things. Thai monks could merely have four pieces of personal belongings and could not amass wealth. Therefore he could never enter a decoration contest. He put the money on the boat to prove that such contest was nonsensical. The King could defrock him since it was in the days of absolute monarchy. In the past he already defrocked Phra Pavana of Thonburi. The King and the Somdej had a very good relationship for over a long time. Once the king graciously gave him a beautiful boat and asked that he should use it to go around giving sermons. But the boat was a big one so the people started calling him Somdej To or Somdej Big.

A couple of years later the Somdej passed away amidst sorrow and despondence among the people . What is most interesting is the legends about him that are still talked about even today.
