I tried flashing the Victek tomato 1.22 to my Asus WL-500g, everything worked except the LAN ports.. Can't even access the web-admin thru LAN (WLAN can)..
I then tried Tomato 1.22ND with speedmod.. now only the LAN ports working great.. now wanna try the performance.. Oh ya.. I migrated from DD-WRT v24 sp1.. shall see which one offer better performance |

QUOTE(gsan @ Nov 21 2008, 05:36 PM) Mine is WL500G no P..I didn't try Victek 1.21.. Victek 1.22 won't work.. Victek 1.22ND worked.. Speedmod 1.21ND also worked.. But after 2 days of testing, it seems tomato firmwares don't really like my router.. If the PPPoE connection were to break, the router can't reconnect at all.. unless I reboot/switch off and on the router back.. Haven't try the regular tomato.. but back to DD-WRT for me for now.. |

New releases http://victek.is-a-geek.com
Tomato 1.22.8010 stock drivers Tomato 1.22.8500 New drivers ASUS WL500G is not compatible with Tomato, only WL500gP and WL520GU. Test version avaliable. Changes: DNSmasq 2.46 updgraded. 1.22.8011 stock drivers 1.22.8501 New drivers. Wich version should be used? Type in Telnet to enter the router terminal, an then: # nvram get wl0_corerev (press enter) 9 Show you a result, if digit >=7 then you can use New drivers version, if <7 you MUST use stock drivers version. yeop. You can't block internal IP's with IPTABLES, iptables is blocking always WAN to LAN traffic. Regards This post has been edited by Victek: Nov 26 2008, 08:22 PM |
