Guys, i saw Robertson audio center/surround speakers for sale. Model is Silver 12.5. RM 99 per piece. thinking of getting a pair of it. The sound should be quite sweet, saw quite a number of ppl buying it. Since it is old stock, then no more warranty. Tempting to get a pair also.

How bout Jamo HT sys. Selling for RM799 only. Ideal for a budget system.
Jamo sw only Rm200 IIRC.

I think i was beside u when u were taking those photos. at abt 5 pm. u were using a panasonic old model digital camera rite? was carrying a bag n the 1st pic wasnt a nice shot for the RM199 package rite?

wanna take pic for forumers to have a look ma.. if interested then faster go sapu while stock last. Especially tht Jamo HT sys, RM799 only.
quite affordable if looking for a budget system. Rm 199 only, cheapo sonic gear 2.1 also cost more than tht.

good intention ya...was really tempting to get it . but tahan myself 1st. wanna cc got ppl bought it o not? i also took some photos, but mostly high-end sys.still thinking whether to get it o not? if not mistaken, cd-rama at JB city square also using tis speakers. the outlook look alike but the model not sure is tis o not? to me, tat is the most sweet sound for vocal i hv ever heard at cd-rama store. really feel like getting it.confusing now, not sure got any problem o not? since it is no warranty coverage...

It's the Avantgarde speaker in Audio Note's show room. Not 100% sure, but I think it is the NANO speaker from their UNO series..

could it be avantgarde?

oh so its avantgarde.. no wonder felt so empty when i going back, i realize will never have chance to enjoy tht kind of avantgarde's level signature again after i leave tht room.. btw now i know america sound is great too.

LS3/5A speakers..why beautiful vocals?.. they're driven with VALVES (or tubes if you insist) with 5-10% distortion specification vintage amplifiers. No dead accurate power transistors or mega power amplifiers that make your TNB meter spin the speed of a gasing!

went there 4pm..cant enjoy much ...love "made in malaysia" product..diy paradise..dac..preamp..amp in 1 box only...drive very efficient speaker..the sound (malaysia boleh ). Tried few beyer headphone..they said dt770 pro (250 ohm) is the best from other model (at the show)..but imo..like the dt440 more..more neutral rather than dt770 which quite aggressive..(these headphone being amp by behringer only)

p/s: only manage to buy akg 314p earphone and a cd only..really on tight budget

I have checked with Mr. Foong of Norman Audio, the price of KAV400xi is now RM9K instead of RM11K, need to tight my belt now to save money for this powerful amp to pair with my speakers.

I went to the show around 1pm yesterday til 4pm , manage to buy few CDs, such as The famous sound of three blind mice Vol. 1, Patricia Barber - Nightclub, Mary Black - No frontiers, some chinese audiophile LPCDs, etc.

Hi, I need some help on getting a HT system. I have zero knowledge about HT system till about a week ago. According to "What Hifi" and some other forum the Onkyo 606 paired with Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 system is a good system to start with. I haven't had a chance to test out this system. Do you guys think its a good entry level system? I have about RM5000 +- 500 for the setup. I also have tested out the Jamo A102HCS5 speaker set, which sounded alright and its the cheapest set I've seen so far, its going for RM1800. I was at the AV fair on friday and manage to hear some really good setup, I think I kena the poison. Any advise would be deeply appreciated. Now I'm also thinking of getting a separate set just for audio only. Thanks

from posting,i would say Jamo should be a good buy for HT set up,by adding a Yamaha RV-1800and Velodyne 10-12" sub,WOW.....total arround <7k,if limited budget then Jamo+RV1700+10" sub....

what about infocus HD pj,still no news ? Any cheaper price on RV-1800 ? Or any news on Denon 2808 ?

totally agree with htkaki, i sat in the car, then came out, sounds like shit, maybe you have to drive the car with the background noise and engine noise then the arrows will sound better..

other than that , the susano also sucks, but the amps looks really huge. so big that i think i cannot carry it..

sonus faber setup was also pretty poor. sounded too boomy, opera tibaldi. is ok..

best sound i think avalon acoustics and cmy usher audio. there is also one company that sells high end transport cd players, nothing to listen but just to look at only.

vienna acoustics was good, and sweedish statement. was ok also. no naim speakers this year, but everyone promote on blueray.

Added on July 27, 2008, 1:06 pmit is like every year ritual for me visiting the ls3/5a club, never leave the room when im in it. listen and listen.. just so soothing. others are like. loud, thump. boom.. my ears cant take too much of it, but LS3/5A, i just cant move, reluctant to move on...

but give other ppl a chance to listen also lah. the room not big enough for him. every year keep adding amps. mana ada tempat. next time only one person can come in.

probably i will be one ls3/5a kaki next time. but i realised those kaki are usually with grey hair. maybe i need to have more grey hair to play ls3/5a

i ask about the pricing. it seems that u got to get the coupon, or if you are luckily draw with the coupon, then only you get the discount. if not u pay full price. dammed.

also i think this year the entrance give is getting more kiam siap, i think the company cut cost, only ada air minum. other than that i cant even get a pen, last year i got a pen. maybe next year air also tak ada. just pay 10 bucks and go in. what the heck.
long long time ago. got free cd, t shirt,. all sorts of things. nowadays nothing man.
