hi all! after reading a lot about savvy i think i'm pretty convinced to consider this car!

so i have a few question:

1. i'm a tall and heavy guy, around 185cm, am i suitable for this car?
- shd be ok

2. backseat ok for people same height like me or not? i heard it's quite cramped and judging from the outlook i can imagine how small it is.
- will have problem

3. is the seat very low like wira or higher like most stardard cars?
- low like most car. i10 is the van type tall seat.

the above 3 question will be answered instantly but i haven't got time to visit and test drive anyway so if you guys willing to answer my question i'd be really grateful.
also more question about the car:

4. how much am i expecting for installment? i think i'll go for the hi-line, with maybe 8k~10k down payment. i never buy a car before, all the while i just drive an older wira owned by my parents.
- i got h-line as well. installment depend on how many years of loan. if got money pay more each month.
- make full use of the rm5k discount when u trade in ur old car. any old car, any age.

5. any great deal of maintainence problem? for some reason i don't trust EON service due to some past experiences with my wira, i let those outside SC and they did really good job, problem free, although expensive a bit but really problem free.
- look under savoc.net. shud be more or less the same as normal car.
- i dont trust eon as well. do look in savoc for advice on good sc in ur area.

6. i've saw advertisement over motor trader, that someone offered the AMT Hi-Line for only 35k, brand new but old stock of 07/08. is this ok to consider? although there're quite some great deal and promotions on savvy but i can save around 8k~9k if this old stock thing is safe to buy.
- those are pre-registered car, if not mistaken. considered as 2nd hand, but never driven.

i really interested in the AMT Hi-Line, and heard quite a bit of good things of the AMT, advantage of having both auto transmission and manual transmission minus the cluth (although i'm a hardcore manual driver but since i drive a lot in city so why not treat my legs and hands good? ). and due to the design, even in auto mode it won't be as thirsty as regular auto transmission right?
- manual and automode is the same consumption, as the auto is not normal auto. there are no torque converter.
- i drive a auto. longing to drive a manual but too lazy. thats y i choose a savvy.

i'm also eyeing on the hyundai i10, they're currently bringing in the imported model in limited units, and then will start selling local assemble one. so maybe within this period has to make a decision sooner is possible. i really like the feel of i10's front/back seat, very specious and comfortable, and sitting up straight will make driving more concentrated. but if savvy is as good, of course i'd go for savvy for the transmission as well as the lower price and better fuel consumption.
- do try out the i10. its a good contender, but its a tall car so its wobby at high speed.
- u will fit very well in i10. designed for tall person.
- i10 is imported from india

yeah i think those car i mentioned with cheaper price should be pre-registered car, so they're probably ready to drive. maybe i'll consider this also.

as for i10, i'm aware of the tall body too, while i like how i can sit tall and straight, i'm so used to the wira super low body and i do love to do cornering with higher speed sometimes. also i'm leaning towards the AMT than full AT anyway and speaking of FC, savvy should perform even better!

one thing i don't like about the i10 is the seems-to-be false advertisement. savvy also has reinforced body like i10. and lastly the backseat is not much of a problem as i mostly intented to buy a car for 2 person only, and only once in a while fetch friends/family but almost never 5 ppl lo. but if it's not because of the tall body that i can drive comfortably, i already consider savvy very early.

i'll test drive it asap when i'm free and will report back.

PS: i really like the white or black paint or even the blue is really nice, but the AMT Hi-Line doesn't seems to offer such colour?
