This is normal. As the fan will still be on for a while eventhough already turn off the engine. It is for cooling purpose. New Member Junior Member 24 posts Joined: Nov 2008	One question, if we are driving using the AMT's manual mode, when changing gears, should we release the accelerator pedal, push the gear knob, then resume pressing accelerator pedal? or we can just change the gear without the need to release the accelerator pedal at all? i mean when upshift and also downshift the gears. New Member Junior Member 24 posts Joined: Nov 2008	Hi everyone, I have one problem with my 6 months old Savvy which happened intermittently. There is sound coming from the engine bay when accelerating, the sound gone when the car is idle. The sound is some sort like fan turning/rotating sound, it only happens if I turn on the air-con and accelerating. I have tried switch off the air-con and the sound is gone. And it happens intermittently, most commonly during cold weather like early morning or night time. Some other time, this sound does not come up, and the car is quite quiet, I can only hear the soft engine and gear changing sound when driving. Already sent to service center for checking, but they checked and found nothing wrong. They mentioned that since it is intermittent problem, so they also can't really pin-point the cause of the sound. Any idea what is wrong with it? or does anyone here faced this problem before? I didn't feel any lose of power for the car when the sound comes, everything seems normal, just that can't stand the irritating sound.

If I press the accelerator pedal softly, the sound is also become kinda soft. Normally which mode you guys prefer to use while driving your beloved car? Auto? Manual? 3. At what rpm you guys switch gear? (when upshift gears) 4. When driving using manual mode, during slowing down or taking corners that need to down shift gears, you guys manually do it or let the system down shift the gears by itself? 5.
