Ah, I will be getting BoBo tomorrow or Wednesday. Then I will be neutering him this weekend loh. You would probably get BoBo after next week coz I wanna see his recovery first. Hehehe....

Anyway, I need to do a little research with you guys.

1st, I will organize a suggie gathering in August. Will get a location first anyway. This is not gonna be anything big, just for glider owners to get together and have fun lah.

2nd.... I will need to weight every glider and joey according to age. Doing research to see if we have underweight or small gliders or not. Why? Well, some people said my Kiah is fat.... but then from research, she is actually underweight.... about 90g. A grown adult female should be 115g on average, with a grown adult male at about 140g.

Anyway, wait for updates.... still planning.

Who wanna volunteer their house for a gathering? Easier loh....

Don't give honey. Your joey is not old enough to tolerate yet. Read my blog on honey.

Anyway, give more. Carrots and Apples are just high in vitamin C and vitamin A.... give papaya, mango, jambu, ciku, rambutan.... we got so many tropical fruits here, you should be getting some. If you go to Pet Shack, get GliderSLURP.

She can't bite properly yet coz she is not suppose to be eating solids now.... your joey is about 4 weeks to 5 weeks OOP.... normally at this age they never start eating solid food but drink milk. Joeys start eating solids around 6 weeks OOP.... they will still drink milk but then start tasting new food. This is why your Apple needs to take more nutritional things. She is lacking so much, mother's milk is rich in nutrients and important antibodies.

3 times a day is good.... but 3 times a day with only those few types of food? Do increase your variety.

My house cannot loh.... my dogs noisy lah LOL.... Also my parents wouldn't approve.

Well, if your Apple prefers mashed up, the you mash it up for her. Durian is ok but only in small amounts. Better not feed durian yet but go for papaya first coz this has a good amount of calcium and is easy to digest but the poo is gonna be orangy and smell like stinky papaya.

A variety of fruits, plus GliderSLURP and also get Pets Own Milk.... it can give your joey a healthier start.

Don't worry, I will give you guys a map and also directions using RapidKL bus from the Wangsa Maju LRT. Taxi is not bad too, Rm5 plus only. So you guys can share taxi also.

Sigh,.... sad.... but in a way, I want them to experience their joeys dying as much as possible so that they would stop getting underage joeys to sell. If the demand for them stops, then joeys can be saved.

Scratching fur? That is odd. Gliders do not shed fur like cats and dogs. Your glider must be having an allergy or he has mites or fungus on his skin. Where did you get him again? Did they keep their gliders in wood shavings like hamsters?

Yups, it was sad to see the dead joey. It suffered. Why? Coz it's tongue was sticking out. Normally when animals die peacefully, their tongue won't stick out.....

No. You have to feed veggies and fruits no matter what. GliderSLURP is only a food supplement, means it gives your glider essential vitamins, minerals and good protein and carbs but you must know, you have to give your joey the best diet that you can. So you still have to feed veggies and fruits. Why your joey is refusing is coz again, she was separated too early. All my joeys eat fruits and veggies and Slurp because they learn from their mom. Your joey's mom was sold off early before she had time to teach your joey how to be a glider.

If without then I don't think is allergy. More likely fungal infection.... Refer to the 1st page please. Vet contacts already there.

Hahaha.... they are having curious chewing. Just get those branches, then as toys, you can leave an empty tissue box for them, a cat ball that is a plastic ball with holes and a bell inside. What you can do is take out the bell and replace with dog kibbles inside. Fun toy. Rubber is not so good coz they may chew the rubber.

LOL.... sabar sabar..... You gonna neuter soon? Hahaha.... 5 is a lot.

Update:

BoBo is with me now. Not crabby yet but stressed. He is biting a bit but overall he is ok with gentle handling. Will monitor him for a few days first.

Joeys won't fall out. They would just stay in the pouch because they feel safe in there.

Your joeys look better than last time. But the food..... cabbage? NOOO..... cabbage, even rabbit and guinea pig and hamster eat is bad for them.... it causes gas build up, has high water content. Calcium level is high lah but you cannot feed cabbage everyday. Change, give more variety. Are you feeding that kind of food everyday? No other variety of fruits?

Also.... did you know you cannot feed yogurt everyday? Only twice a week.

Gliders do sniff each other once a while... it has nothing to do with male or female. Curiosity, new smell, getting familiar. Gliders have a scent gland in their cloaca, which is their butt area.

When females come on heat, the males would usually follow and sniff more.

Yes, a bit like dog but monkeys also do this.... I think alot of animals have this behaviour as well.

Choy Sum high in calcium and vitamin C. That's why good for animals and humans.

Get kampung Chicken lah. Turkey is good but hard to find. Have to go to those supermarkets that sell non-halal food and search, summore not all supermarkets sell turkey. Best time is Christmas, but 1 turkey bird sure around Rm80... depending on weight hahaha.

Is good in small amounts, just don't give everyday. See the 1st page to find out what you can buy loh. Shop at Tesco, always got good bargains there.

Today he is 50g, 45 days OOP. Such a healthy boy. He knows how to pee and poo by himself now. Eating solids too.

Sorry, this time no pics coz camera no battery.

Coz when joeys are below 6 weeks OOP, not all really know how to pee and poo themselves wan. You have to get wet tissue to touch their butt, the only pee and poo. I also had experience with underage joeys. If we don't stimulate them to defecate and urinate, they would do later but is like not so healthy for them lah.

Normally when I handle Bubba before this week, he would never pee and poo on me. Today he started to pee and poo on me when handling, means he can do it without his mom. Normally his mom licks him to pee and poo.

LOL..... I will lah, as soon as my brain works. Now my brain not functioning coz got headache, fever, running nose and cough. Sudah 4 hari loh..... sob sob.... can't even play with my gliders for long.

Thanks guys. Yah, it sucks to be sick. I dare not play with my pets in case I pass on some bacteria or germs or whatever.

Anyway, Kapi may have 2 joeys in pouch. Kiah maybe 1 joey again..... not sure coz their bumps are not ping pong ball obvious LOL.
