the price seem right coz it is after all is 2 4870..and can consider it slightly cheaper then cf 4870...

if Hd4870x2 = Rm1699 ... its very good buy cos buy 2 x Hd4870 = Rm1800 already...

4870x2 not even wining 15%..
not yet 15%
some test only less than 5% and some even
4870CF is still faster. it draws lesser power..
this is true.. If driver to be tuned finer in future,
you might see both CF and R700 gaining much
performances..

usually x2 version is a bit expensive than 2 units of ?870. Takes 3870 for example, 2 units of 3870 is cheaper than 1 unit of 3870x2's price about rm200. So, I guess it is same for 4870 and 4870x2 case.

Because the design is different.Its like a Dual Core.But not really Dual Core,as AMD said they might provide a REAL DUAL CORE GPU in R800.Not Dual Dies in 1 PCB, but 1 Dies, 1 PCB, but has 2 Cores in 1 Dies
It has some advantages thou..But only time predict it. cool.gif
